We had a very busy, but fun Thanksgiving weekend. The above picture is of Karson on our way down to St.George, we left bright and early on Thanksgiving day at about 6:15 am. Tyler let me sleep, which was very nice and he got us in safe and sound at around 10:30 am.

This is a picture of the yummy carrots I made. It is my mom's recipe and we cook them in brown sugar, butter, flour, and chicken broth. So yummy! There are onions in the mix as well. Thanksgiving dinner was so good! We had peach jello with home made whip cream, rolls, stuffing, mashed potatoes, carrots, yams, and of course turkey! It was so good! Everybody helped out and made something so my mom wouldn't have to do it all and it turned out great! My mom ordered some pies from Village Inn, that we ate later that night. Peacn, Chocolate, Lemon Supreme, and of course pumpkin!

Here is a picture of Bethanie and Johnny on Thanksgiving. What a cute couple they are!

We were able to fit in the living room and everyone sat together.

Here is Katie and I waiting for all of the food to get done! She looks cute, but I am not sure what my hair was doing in this picture!

Katie, Mom and Fernanda. Katie was making the whip cream for the jello and Fernanda was mashing the potatoes.

Tyler watching the Lions football game with Roury, waiting to eat some grub!

Roury's sad face, because the Lions lost. Oh well he is a die hard fan, and will always cheer for the Lions!

Here is Karson wearing Johnny's Atlanta Braves hat and in a cute Braves onesie, that Ty actually bought me for Mother's Day when I was pregnant with Easton.

My cute boy!

We saw 3 movies on this trip! On Thanksgiving Day we say Austraila and it was SO good! It was also almost 3 hours long and we brought Karson with us and he was an Angel! He fell asleep two different times and didn't make a peep! Everyone commented on how good he was. The only bad thing was St.George theatres just aren't like Salt Lake ones, you have NO leg room and it was so hot in the theatre, and we had a diaper bag, coats, blankets, my purse, etc, so it was a tight fit!
Friday we slept in and went over to my parent's house where everyone was. Bethanie wanted to go see Twilight for her birthday with all the boys. Keith and Kyle weren't feeling that great the whole trip so my parents offered to stay home with them and Karson while we saw the movie. Ty and I were able to go to the outlets real quick and get Kaili some much needed new jeans, she is growing so fast and some long sleeved shirts, and we got Karson some cute shorts to wear this summer for a $1.99 then we saw Twilight. Friday night we celebrated Bethanie's 20th birthday which was actually on Friday, and then we also celebrated Rylee and Katie's birthday because they are in December. We played games that night until midnight! I haven't intentionally stayed up that late in a long time! We played a new game called Dicecapades that was a lot of fun!
Saturday Tyler was able to go golfing with my parents and Roury 9 holes and he had a lot of fun! When they got back we went and ate at the Pizza Factory and then went and saw Four Christmas's. It had it's vulgar moments, but all in all it was pretty dang funny. Tyler laughed his head off practically the whole movie. We then went back and played more games. Karson did great on this trip, he still has a little cold with a cough, but I think he is getting better. Tyler also is still fighting off a cold it is off and on.

This is Karson in our hotel room. We were fortunate enough that my parents got Ty and I a hotel room in the hotel just like 2 minutes away from my parents home in Coral Canyon. There is no way we would have all fit in my parents house, and since Karson gets up in the middle of the night to eat, it was just easiest for us to stay at the hotel this time. We appreciated that very much. All in all it was a great Thanksgiving weekend and we had a lot of fun! Thanks mom and Dad!

hey, we had our family party this weekend and the game was SO fun! thanks so much for the idea and for sharing your info :)
oh, and p.s., my grandparents live in Leeds, just north of coral canyon, it's great down there, every time we go my hubby wants to move there!
it is amazing how many questions were answered in this blog entry of yours. tyandi stayed in coral canyon before and after you were there and i wondered where you all slept and how you set the table up for the feast. loretta makes those carrots, too. she does cut the diferently and i don't think she uses chicken broth or flour. same, same, but different. i am happy thanksgiving was fun.
love linda
