Weekend.....

So Friday night Ty and I went to this place called Dooners, it is this new little eatery in Riverton, by the High School and it is pretty good. They have real italian gelato that they make daily and that is the best part. I had chocolate peanut butter and it was so good! We came home and cleaned out our bedroom closet and I took a tylenol pm around 7:45 and was out at 8:30 as I have mentioned in other posts, I was really getting no sleep at all last week, being so stuffy and congested. Tyler said I was snoring so loud! I am sure I was because I was so tired, and stuffed up!

Saturday I did some scrapbooking and hung out with my family. I could tell that night I was starting to not feel so great again and I was coughing a lot! I decided that on Sunday If I still wasn't feeling well I was going to call the on call Dr, at my OBGYN's office. So sure enough Saturday night I was up all through the night and permanetly up from 4:00 am-7:00 am, I was keeping Ty up so I went downstairs and watched re runs of America's Next Top Model. I came up and fell back asleep for about an hour. Needless to say I was so exhausted my eyes were burning when I would close them. So I called my dr.'s office and luckily for me, my Dr. happened to be the one on call, so she called me in an inhaler with albuterol to clear up my chest, cough medicine to help me sleep, and an antibotic to clear me up. So I feel all drugged up. Along with my pre-natals and baby asprin I have to take every day,and then on the 4th I have to start another antibotic for the fighting off of internal infections. I feel bad taking all of these prescriptions, because I don't want it to hurt the baby, but of course my Dr. assured me that they would do no harm to the baby.

So Sunday Ty was a trooper and went and taught primary by himself, and took care of me all day. Ty's mom brought us over some dinner (Thanks again Kay) because we really have no food in our house as I didn't go grocery shopping all last week, because I was so tired! I took it easy yesterday and I am feeling better today, so hopefully I will continue to feel better for sure. This pregnancy has been wierd, as I have been sick a lot with cold symptoms etc!

Any way hope you all had a great weekend!

Husband Tag

Like some of my cousins,I have gotten this tag several times, but have not filled out the survery. Since I am SO tired I want to cry, I thought I would fill this out to pass some time.

How did you meet your spouse? Most of you know the story with Tyler and I. But I will do a short re-cap for you. We had never met in person when I started writing him on his mission. I was teaching voice lessons at the time and a family friend told his little sister she should bring a picutre of him over and tell me to write him. I saw his picture thought he was cute and thus began the journey of writing to my missionary that I had never met before. We wrote for the last year of his mission. He came home, we saw each other, very awkward situation, and it did not work out. He was married in March 2003 I was married in June 2003. I fell in love with him through our letters, but was really scared for many reasons to have a relationship with him. Any way he was going through a divorce April 2005 I was going through a divorce May 2005, we hadn't seen or talked to each other since September 2002....and we wound up in each others lives again and that is how we have come to be. Like on our wedding invitation I said " It was no accident me finding you...someone had a hand in it, long before we ever knew..." cheesey maybe? But true.
How long have you been together? Well we "hung out" or whatever you want to call it for 10 months, before we got married, and we just celebrated our two year wedding anniversary.
How long have you been married ? 2 years this month
Who said I love you first? Tyler did and it was very cute when he said it. I was very sick, could barely talk and we were downstairs on my couch watching a movie, I looked horrible and was coughing my head off and he whispered.." I love you" and then went bright red. It made me happy that he felt that way even when I felt and looked horrible.
Who is taller? Ty he is about 6'1 and I am 5'3
Who sings better? I guess me,but Ty actually has a nice voice
Who is smarter? We are smarter in different ways, Ty is way smarter in math and logical thinking and putting things together, I am smarter in English and the creative side of thinking and he knows a lot more about the Gospel than me
Who does the laundry? mainly me, but he helps out
Who does the dishes? me
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? me
Who mows the lawn? well we don't have a lawn to really mow, but he mows my parents lawn in the summer for some extra cash which is nice
Who cooks dinner? me, but Tyler makes great carbonara, frozen pizzas and eggs
Who drives when you are together? uh Tyler I hate driving with him when I am the driver, he makes me nervous!
Who is the first to admit when they're wrong? It's pretty hard for both of us to admit it because we are both stubborn but lately we are both trying to be better at this
Who kissed who first? Tyler kissed me first and we waited awhile, because our situation was a little different than most, but it was a great kiss, that I will always remember!
Who proposed? Tyler did. We had looked at rings a couple of weeks before but I didn't know when he had gone and bought the ring and he picked out the wedding band all by himself and it was a good choice. We were trying to decide what Temple to get married in, I had always wanted to do Salt Lake but that is where his first wedding was, and I wasn't sure I wanted to do ours at the same place. So we had drove down to the Mount Timpanogos Temple and I thought it was really pretty. So that is where he proposed, he was so nervous and his hands were all sweaty and clamy, but it was very cute. Then we went to dinner at Carver's. Good memories!
Who is more sensitive? who do you think? of course me

Good News & Bad News

So...the good news is that tonight I get to use my anniversary present that Ty gave me which is a spa pedicure! When I called to make the appointment the other day I told them which one I wanted and they told me that the prices had gone up and it was now $90..well Ty didn' t get the gift certificate for $90 he was going off of the prices on the brochure they gave him which turned out to be an old brochure. So the girl said for $5 more she would honor that pedicure for the lower price. So apparently it is a way nice pedicure, where I get to be in my own room and they do a mini manicure and facial as well as pedicure and it is about an hour and 15 mins long. So I am very excited for that!
The bad news is....I think I am getting sicker! I am coughing more now, and I seriously can't breathe! At night I am propped up on 3 pillows and I use vapor rub to help me breathe better, and take what medicine I can, and I am still waking up about every hour and the past three mornings I have woken up at 4:30 a.m and basically have been awake since then. I guess my body is training me to get no sleep for the future, but I am exhausted in the mornings! Being able not to breathe is the worst! So hopefully tonight this pedicure will help me relax and to have a better sleep tonight. I just don't want my sickness to affect the baby!
And WHAT IS UP WITH THE SNOW? I mean really!

24 Weeks & Counting.....

So today was my 24 week check up! While I was there they did a fetaloptic test, which means they wanted to see if it would show if my body was more likely to go into pre-term labor with in the next 4 weeks and they just called me with the results and they were negative! Which is great news, so now I can breathe a little easier. We heard the babies heart beat which was loud and strong, and most everything looks good. I go back on April 21 when I will be almost 28 weeks and I do the Glucola test, I chose the fruit punch flavor, so we shall see how that tastes and goes. I am always so happy to hear his heart beat. Usually I do feel him move now at least once a day and that is always fun and reassuring as well! I am still really stuffy, so stuffy that when I blow my nose blood comes out! I am just so thankful that this pregnancy is progressing along nicely and although I am a little nervous about being a mom, I am so looking forward to meeting our sweet little guy!

Easter Morning

So here is a picture of Kaili's Easter basket, got to love the $1 bins at Target. I only got her a little bit of candy as I knew she would be getting TONS of it at other places. Kaili loves stickers, and pens and pencils and papers, so I wanted to get her some of those things. She also kept telling me that she needed some sun glasses, so I got her two pairs of those. I got Ty the DVD Dan in Real Life, some ranch corn nuts, altoids and a teeny bit of candy. Tyler gave me some silver flat ballet shoes, as I needed some flats! They are really cute. Tyler also likes to buy Kaili a kite every year and he got her a really pretty blue butterfly kite. They will have fun flying it together. I wanted to make us breakfast on Sunday morning, but it just didn't happen! Easter came too fast this year, I like it much better in April. Plus I have not been sleeping well and Sunday morning I woke up with a really soar throat, and I am feeling even worse today! I don't want to get sick again! Escpecially at this point during my pregnancy! I have a Dr.'s appointment tomorrow so hopefully we can figure something out. I know the flu has been going around, and you basically can't stop it. So hopefully it won't get too bad. Any way I love Easter and I am extremely grateful for the resurrection of the Savior. I love his so much and as much as I try to fathom it, I can't even begin to comprehend all that he did for us, so that we can have the wonderful lives that we do and return and live again with him someday. I promise next year I will make a really good Easter breakfast, honey!

Grandma Kay's and Grandpa Larry's

So after the Riverton Easter Egg Hunt, we went over to the Fankhauser's. Kaili is the only grandchild right now, so she had an Easter Egg hunt all to her self. She got a new dress, two new books and lots of treats! She had lots of fun finding the eggs and putting them into her basket. After that we had a yummy lunch of homemade rolls and ham and lots of sandwich toppings like avacado's, onions, tomoatoes, etc. They were really good! Thanks Kay and Larry for the great food!

Riverton Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday morning at 10:00 Riverton City was doing an Easter Egg hunt, we took Kaili, and it was pretty cold, but she was excited. They had it divided off into age groups, but it was still a mad house. In Kaili's age group there were probably 500 kids. And at the sound of the blow horn all the kids just ran out into thier designated area and picked up as much stuff as they could. Kaili ran out there and got some candy and only two plastic eggs. All of the stuff was gone in about 15 seconds. It was insane. They had some Easter Bunnies there walking around and Kaili really wanted to give one a hug, so she and I followed it and when we got close enough, she ran up and gave him a big hug!

Dying Easter Eggs

So Saturday night we set out to dye some Easter eggs. We bought 2 12 dozen cartons and Kaili had lots of fun. She loved the crayon that you could use to write on the egg before you dyed it and your writing would be on the egg still. Tyler loved the little egg wrappers that you could put around the egg and then set the egg down in hot water and the wrapper would shrink around it.He was so fascinated by this! :)
Any way it was a lot of fun, growing up I loved dying Easter eggs. The only bad thing is with our little family there is no way all those eggs will get eaten up. Plus I am not good with anything to do with eggs, and I overboiled the eggs, so some of them are really yucky and some of them are ok! Oh well!

Children's Museum

Kaili at the cash register, this was heaven for her. She loves to play that she is the mom!

Firewoman Kaili and Police officer Keith, they loved riding around in these things in thier tiny city, they were both almost too big for them though!

Keith and Kaili filling up thier baskets at the grocery store.

Kaili playing in the mini Kitchen, one of her favorite parts of the whole day!

Yesterday I took the day off and my mom and I took my nephew Keith and Kaili to the Children's Museum. Keith and Kaili are usually best buddies. When they get tired, they start to get a little "competitive" with each other but for the most part they have lots of fun together. Silly me, I wasn't computing in my brain that was Easter break and that the place would be packed, but it was! Keith and Kaili didn't seem to notice but my mom and I sure did. They had a lot of fun though. Kaili's favorites were the " mini" house and " mini" kitchen they had! She loved that! She also really like this miniature tree house that was supposed to be like a bird house and the kids could go in it and play. Kaili also loved the "mini" grocery store they have. She loved being at the cash registerd and pretended scanning all the items. Another big hit was the helicopter on top of the roof. They had a Sesame Street thing there, and it wasn't as great as I thought it would be. We were there for almost 3 hours and by the time we left my hands were so swollen I couldn't take my wedding ring off and my feet were killing me! It was really hot in there! I think the kids had a great time! Thanks mom for coming with me, and paying for our entrance fee! :)

Baby News....

So I am happy to say that I am at 23 weeks and 2 days! I have past the " scary" part of my pregnancy! Thanks to all of you for your love, support and prayers in our behalf! I am feeling much better and less anxious than I was a couple of weeks ago. The past two weeks I have been starting to feel him move a lot and it is very exciting! I can't wait to meet this little guy! Feeling your baby move inside of you is unlike any other feeling. It's such a miracle. I go into the Dr. next week for my 24 week check up and I am very excited! Tyler is continuing to give me a progesterone shot once a week and he is becoming quite good at it. Sometimes it doesn't hurt at all and other times it can bring me to tears, but it is all worth it! Finding cute maternity clothes that actually look good on me, however has been a little difficult lately, I feel so awkward looking!

Blowing out the candles and sprinkles

Kaili doesn't like cupcakes or cake for that matter. So that is why we didn't get a big ole cake. My mom made some yummy cream cheese cupcakes so Kaili could blow out some candles and then she was perfectly happy eating her vanilla ice cream with star sprinkles! She loves most any kind of sprinkles so I brought them for her to put on her ice cream and she ate all her icecream all gone!

Happy 4th Birthday Kaili!

Today is Kaili's actual birthday, but yesterday we had her for the day and had a birthday party for her. We had grilled hot dogs, chips and dip, a veggie tray and cupcakes and icecream! Thanks Mom and Kay for your help with the food. Kaili had so much fun, and even went around and gave everyone a hug after she opened all of her presents, which is pretty impressive! She is so loved and lucky to have such great support to her and our situation. After she left my nephew Keith couldn't figure out why she had to leave and that she has two homes and two "moms". Kaili got some new cute spring clothes, playdough and play set, a teddy bear she can color on, a cute little tea set and more pots and and pans, an art eisle ( I am sure I spelled that wrong) with art supplies, money from Great Grandma and Grandpa Fankhauser, Chutes and Ladders, pajamas, sandals, clothes, Swan Princess DVD, and a cute play tent and chair. That was a hit. We are so thankful for Kaili and love her so much and know that she will be a great big sister!

Happy Two Year Anniversary Ty!

So today is our two year wedding anniversary! I can't believe it has already been two years! It has been a whirlwind! We have been through so much, and I can honestly say that my love for Tyler is much stronger that it has ever been. He is my rock, my anchor and without him I would be a mess! Seriously, we all know it's true! It's fun to look back and remember the feelings and emotions that we were expereincing on that day. We had waiting a long time for that moment where we would become each others forever, and it was worth it! I love you honey! Here's to many more years full of happiness and struggles, joy and pain, but most importantly unconditional love!

Saturday Afternoon Painting

Saturday Kaili was doing some art things up stairs while I was working on the primar lesson. She saw her paints and decided she wanted to paint. So we went down stairs and painted some pictures. She is in to learning her letters and kept writing B's and X's. She loves to do art related activities. I can't decide if she will be an artist, a chef, or a cosmotologist, as she loves doing all three of these things. I guess she has a lot of time to decide!

Cupcakes

Friday I went and picked up Kaili. We got home at about 3:45 and I thought we would make some cupcakes really fast as Kaili loves to bake. She was in charge of the sprinkles, until she told me that she was now a princess and when you are a princess you don't do sprinkles you have other people do it for you. She really said that and I thought it was so funny. We had our neighbors Ryan and Abby over with thier two little girls Savannah and Sadie. Kaili and Savannah had a lot of fun playing together and it was a good night!

Princess Shoes

Kaili got 6 different pairs of these kind of shoes for Christmas this year of all the different Diseny Princesses. She loves wearing them. Whenever she comes to our house, she goes right to her room opens her closet and puts a pair of them on. She loves to wear them while she is playing "house" as well. She and Tyler have come up with a game called " Beauty and the Beast" where one of them will pretend to be asleep and the other has to kiss them like in all the Disney movies to wake each other up, and then they will dance around the living room. It's really cute.

Little Miss Planner

So I have decided that I have a sickness with planning. I have to have everything in a plan or my world goes crazy. I realize this can be a good thing and sometimes a not so good thing. I try really hard to be more relaxed but with everything going on in life, ecspecially our schedule with Kaili we have to plan ahead, that I just do it for everything. Sorry to all of those who this effects, but if you are one of those people it means we are very close and you know me very well so it is just expected right?! I try to be more laid back and low key,but it's just a hard thing for me to do. Oh well. :)

So I am glad today is Friday. I am leaving work early to go and get Kaili and although I am not a fan of the drive at times it is a nice day outside which makes it easier and more relaxing! We are refinancing the car tomorrow which should be nice as well! Have a happy Friday!

I was 5 almost 6 and attending Jackling Elementry School in Mrs. Pinncock's class. Camille Redd was my best friend at the time, and the teacher didn't like the way I held my pencil. Kristopher Larsen was always chasing me around the play ground at recess and he had his mom make me hair bows for presents. I was loving Strawberry Shortcake and Rainbow Brite.I also entered the Reflections contest and won something. I can't remember what.

I was 15 and a sophomore at Hunter High ( almost 16 ) being very excited to be able to drive soon, I am sure. I was also looking at getting a job at Chili's. I loved my creative writing class, and I was still trying to get over my first little High School Boyfriend. I had long, long hair and my best friends were Danie and Emily. We went to the Olive Garden with my parents for lunch for my birthday that year. I was going to sing in the High School Talent show in a couple of weeks. I was really skinny at this time too, even though I thought I wasn't

Ugh. 5 years ago I was engaged to my first husband and almost 21 and almost getting married. Those were some interesting times, so I won't say too much about that! :)

Three years ago I was 22 almost 23 and it is when my life changed dramatically for the better and all of my dreams started to fall into place. It was the hardest time in my life and one of the best. I can't believe it has been three years ago! It was 3 years ago this May when my first husband decided he didn't want to be married any more, and although at the time I thought I would not be able to make it through the rain my ex-husband did me a fovor by leaving me because Tyler came back into my life and we began seeing each other again. We had lots of learning experiences dating and a lot of fun together!

I was 24 almost 25 and celebrating my one year anniversary with my husband! We went down to St.George for 4 days and had a lot of fun. However I had just found out I was pregnant and I was in quite a bit of pain as the hundreds of cysts that were covering my ovaries were rupturing as my uterus was expanding, so I had a lot of cramping going on. I was very excited to be pregnant and we had a goood long weekend together. I remember we went to Olive Garden and OutBack Steakhouse.

So Far this year-
Tyler and I have almost been married for two years,he is graduating from SLCC this May, Kaili is almost 4 years old she is in pre-school, sunbeams and dance class. We are 5 months pregnant and so excited! I will be turning 26 on May 1 and Tyler will be 27 in July. We teach the 5 year olds in primary and keep very busy. I am very happy with my life and very proud of Tyler and all of the hardwork he does for his family.

Today-
I woke up at 7:00 am and got ready for work. I made Tyelr some oatmeal and left. I went to the grocery store on my lunch break and bought some food since we have nothing. I have planned 4 meals for this week and I am quite happy with it. Tonight we are having Tin Foil dinners, tomorrow beef stew in the crock pot, Friday we are having some of our neighbor friends come over and eating haystacks and Sunday we are making mini english muffin pizzas!

Later Tonight-
I am going to make dinner, do laundry, watch American Idol and maybe go to the Library

Tomorrow- I am going to work, making stew and watching a foreign film with Ty for his Humanities class

This year-
We look forward to our birthdays, having a new baby come in July, learning to be a mom, working 30 hours a week instead of 40, spending time with the family and all of those fun things! Nothing too huge is planned for this year except the arrival of our baby boy!

Now I tag whoever took the time to read this and was as bored as me and wants to fill us in!

Weekend

Here is Keith, Kaili and Kyle. I would like to ask you all to notice my little nephew Kyle, who has been cancer free for about 9 months or so now. He just had another CT scan that came back clean and he is doing well. He is such a fighter! He weighed 1.5 pounds when he was born and he has been through so much! He has a shunt in his head, and he has had and will have many surgeries. He was diagnosed with liver cancer last February, and he made it through the rain.He hasn't been on oxygen for awhile and he is now crawling up and down the stairs, which is amazing! And his cute little head is now full of hair, once again! Kaili had fun playing with them on Saturday night! They are all buddies.

So we got Kaili this weekend and she was so excited to see her dad, it had been 3 weeks since she had last seen him because of her family vacation that she went on, obviously Tyler was very excited to see her too. We had her all day on Friday and she got to spend the day with Grandma Kay. Later that night the three of us just hung out at home. Rylee and Katie stopped by to bring Kaili an early birthday present, because they won't be down for her birthday! Thanks guys for always being so thoughtful, she has carried her little purse and puppies with her in her diaper bag. Then my mom and Dad stopped by to say hi as well. Kaili went to Disnelyland and Seaworld a couple of weeks ago and she told us all about the Tea Cups and Dumbo which were her favorite rides. She also saw Shamoo but sat up high in the bleachers so she wouldn't get wet. After everyone left on Friday night we played some games. Kaili LOVES to play games. This game she is sitting by is a little Disney kid version of Yahtzee that Grandma Kay gave her for something...I don't remember what Holiday it was for!

The other picture is of Kaili from Saturday. She loves to cook and do the dishes, so this is her helping me do the dishes after we made some peanut butter chocoalte chip cookies. Saturday we went and ran some errands. We got our wedding rings cleaned, looked for some new jeans for Tyler and found none, went to Red Robin for lunch ( the Fashion place one, for those of you who know what that means) we went to Target , and we bough Tyler some new shoes. He gets like seriously one new pair of shoes a year, so he needed some very badly!
Sunday we went to church and I had a trying time with these two little boys in my primary class, we teach the 5 year olds turning 6 and it was a crazy day! we then went over to my parents house and had yummy hamburgers from the grill. They tasted so good! We said good bye to Kaili we get her again this weekend and went to my Grandparent's house. My Daddy Daddy as we call him instead of Grandpa turns 83 today, he had a stroke 5 years ago and it has been a long tough road for him ever since. It is hard for me to see him the way he is, but I keep close the memories I have of him when he was vibrant and charming, because that is exactly what he was!
