Phew! 2013 just flew right by, and it was a wonderful year, with a few bumps in the road, but mostly it was so great! Karson won Rookie 5 Home Run Derby champ through Riverton baseball, he also had to deal with having pneumonia in May, Strep throat in September, and Croup in October! He is so tough and we never know when he is really sick or in pain, but we made it through! He also survived his Kindergarten shots in June!
Mr. Hudson turned 2 in April and we had a Choo Choo party, it was so much fun!
Miss Kaili Dee turned 9 and since her Birthday is on St.Patricks Day anyway we had an "Over the Rainbow" party, she also got a Kindle Fire for her birthday and has loved it ever since! She even let's little brothers play it sometimes!
Easter was lots of fun this year, each child got to dye a dozen of their own Easter eggs!
Ty and I ran in the Running with Angels 5K in honor of Easton, it was a great experience, even though it POURED rain on us, and my ipod touch stopped working that day..and I can't get it to work ever since. Tyler got pretty sick after the race, he pushed himself really hard and beat me by about 11 minutes. I wasn't really prepared to run the whole thing, so my sweet Anjeanette stayed with me the whole time.
We went to Heber to go on Thomas the Train and play with my cousin and her family! Other than Karson getting way sick that trip, we had a lot of fun! The hotel we stayed at was horrible, so I worked my magic and got us a huge discount at the end!
Love my mom. My mom helped me out so much in 2013 and I am so grateful for her!
The kids had a blast in the summer heat this year, playing outside and getting wet in the water!
Karson Maddux turned 5 and got to have a Star Wars party, we had a friend party and that was an experience, but the kids had a ton of fun!
Father's Day, the kids love their Dad so much!
Gma and Papa's annual summer family reunion, was again a huge success, they rented an inflatable water bounce house with a slide, and the kids and adults LOVED it. It was so hot that week, and then the weekend of the party it was lightening and raining, but luckily it warmed up by afternoon on Saturday!
Sweet Easton would have been 6 this year. I miss the chance of not knowing him in this life, and wondering what his personality would have been like, I pretend he would have been a mix of Kars and Huds and the peacemaker of the 3.
Hudson had lots of fun at 7 peaks this year, going down the kiddie slides.
Aunt Megan came home from her mission, July 30 and boy were these kids excited! They sure do love her!
My Baby sis had a baby girl, Mazilyn Blair and boy is she adorable!
We went to Lagoon with the McD family in August, and it was lots of fun! Hot, but fun! We rode the train about 10 times I think!
We played Herriman Fall ball, although it was at the end of August and September so not really fall ball, all those games were pretty HOT, I think we only had one rain out! Karson loved it!
We went to Park City in August with my McD family as well, and had a blast, anywhere where Hudson can putt is a good day!
Soccer, and soccer and lots of Soccer! Ty coached two seasons of soccer, all undefeated!
We took many trips to the aquarium and library! The boys are super excited for the new aquarium to be finished!
Halloween was the best this year! Hudson LOVED everything about it, from Charlie Brown's Halloween show, to saying SPOOOKY, about everything and wearing his batman costume, it made this year lots of fun. Kaili wore the Indian costumer to our annual Halloween party that my mom made for me when I was in 4th grade, so that was fun!
Karson was a power ranger and he had a lot of fun at the school parade and class party! He is growing up too fast!
Our big event of 2013 was that we built a brand new house in Herriman! Boy are we glad that it's DONE! Although it was a rough journey we are so THANKFUL and feel so blessed with our end result. The kids love it, we love it, and we are excited to grow in this house and start a new chapter in our lives. A big thanks to my parents who let us live in their home all of last year and save money so we could even be at a place where we could get into a home.
Tyler's sister Chalese got married, it was a cold, cold day, but she looked beautiful and she and Tate are very happy and we are happy for them!
Hudson was obsessed with Santa last year and when he saw this Santa, he was so cute! The magic of Christmas in a child's eyes....there isn't really much else that I can compare it to. I was so excited for Christmas morning this year, and then when Hudson listens to Christmas music and hears the word Jesus, and announces it to me JESUS! Guess I snuck in the true meaning of Christmas somewhere in his brain!
Karson at my mom's Christmas Party the 23rd, such a fun night, with some of the people I love most in this world.
And last but not least, this guy! I am so thankful for Tyler and his hard work and efforts in helping our family to succeed. Lots of long days,nights and hours were put into his job this year, and I know that ultimately he does that for me and the kids. Tyler is honest, loyal, loving and I am so lucky to have found him once again.I can't imagine my life without him. I am looking forward to 2014, and there is nothing I love more in this world then my sweet little family! God Bless you all ! Happy New Year's Eve!
