Karsons Golf Party

So this is the Golf cake I made for Karsons golf birthday party I was happy with how it turned out, since I am no professional cake maker! :)

Doughnut holes, as golf balls, these were a hit!

I made these for the first time and they were a huge hit, I used almond bark to melt them in and it worked great!

Plastic golf cupcake picks that I used to make fruit kabobs instead..

The awesome golf cupcakes my sis and I made, she did most the decorating and they turned out awesome!

We used graham cracker crumbs for the sandtraps

Karson is 3 years old!

Oh man...going through all these pictures of Karson I couldn't help but get a little chocked up, my baby is going to be 3! I can't believe it! I have loved watching him grow and learn new things, but I just know these next 3 years will fly by as well! Karson was my angel baby, he helped heal my heart from losing Easton...and he serioulsy was THE BEST baby (minus his sleeping habits) Hudson is a good baby too, but he cries,probably 75% MORE than Karson ever did, and that is no exaggeration.

Some fun facts about Karson are:

1. He has a soft place in his heart for animals, he loves them. I wish we could get him his own dog, but we can't right now. For now my in-laws dog Miski is his substitute dog, he told me his favortie kind of dogs are " miski" dogs.

2. He doesn't like bugs

3. He is very particular about how his food looks, if there is something that looks wierd or discolored to him, he won't eat it.

4. He LOVES Playing with cars, and takes them in the tub, then when he is ready to get out, I have to dry off each one individually.

5. As you all know he loves all sports, ecspecially golf!

6. He loves trains

7. He says his " Th" sound as a " D " sound like " right dhere" he says water like " watert" and popsicle as " popice"

8. He seriously basically potty trained himself about a month ago, it was awesome!

9. His new saying is " Wow that's amazing", so cute!

10. He has a sweet tooth like his mama, loves candy, cake, cookies, icecream however is probably his least favorite

11. His fave snowcone flavor is Tigers Blood

12. He would live outside if we let him

13. He loves chicken nuggetts, pizza, ravioli, spaghetti, grapes, cheese pringle chips, animial crackers, sprite, apple juice, cinnamon toast crunch cereal, apples, cheese and mac n cheese.

14. He says the cutest prayers ever

15. He loves to cuddle with me in bed, and I will take it for as long as he lets me

16. He loves Mickey Mouse Club House

17. He can count to 12 and to 20 with skipping a few

18. He loves his sister Kaili so much even if he does pester her! :)

19. He loves to call his daddy on the phone

20. He loves to sing songs and hum to himself

21. He is particular about what clothes he likes to wear

22. Even though he is at the stage where he drives me insane, last night while I was laying in bed with him he intertwined his fingers into mine, pulled them to his chest and said " I love you mama" , how can you stay mad at that! :)

I love you Karson so much! Thanks for letting me be your mom and be a part of your life! Happy Birthday! His birthday is on the 19th but with Fathers Day I didn't think I would have time to post this so I am doing it now! :)

Surprise Party......

So..I have been planning for months now a surprise party for Tyler's 30th Birthday ( July 12 is his acutal birthday) and for his College Graduation, I decided to combine them and do a big party in May. I don't think I realized how hard it would be to get it ready dealing with 3 children and one being a 2 month old! Friday was insane! However I think I managed to pull it off! Tyler was completely surprised! I told him we were going to Mulligans with my whole family. So the only car parked in the driveway was Luke and Fernanda's, and everyone else parked down the street! Some people arrived at the party right as we did, so they were trying to hide behind a tree as we pulled up, luckily Tyler saw people but didn't recognize them.....the look on his face, was just what I wanted total surprise!

This is Tyler's awesome cake that Tyler's mom got and her neighbor made it for us! I LOVED it, and felt like it completed the party!

If you can't tell what that is on the left side, it is a graduation cap and then of course a Braves cake! The cake itself was delicious as well very moist and yummy!

I was super tired during the party so I am so mad I didn't take any pictures of the tables or of all the people there! We had the ping pong table set up and a bing bag game, and the kids were having a blast on the swing set. Thanks to my parents for letting me use thier house, my mom for all of her help on Friday, Kay for the cake and vinyl, Beth for the muddy buddies and Johnny for the heavy lifting! :) Couldn't have done it without you guys!

I made a game of " How well do you know Tyler" it was a lot of fun! His mom got 1st place, and his Dad, Megan and Matt all tied for 2nd so they had to pick a number. Larry won! I was glad I did the game, I think it was fun and connected everyone at the party for a bit!

This was a last minute idea but I thought it would be fun to have everyone sign this poster board like a big birthday card! I was so sick to my stomach all day hoping I could pull it off, hoping he didn't have a clue and I don't think he did, so all the worry was worth it! :)

Baby Shower for Amanda

Amanda is my sis-in-law she is married to Tyler's brother Nick who is the 3rd child in Ty's family. They are having a baby girl and we can't wait to meet her! Amanda loves shoes and bows and bright colors, so I just know this little girl will be so adorable! Above is all the yummy foodwe had at the shower!

Don't mind my face in this picture, I realized the base I was wearing that day is WAY too light! ew!

The girl on the left is Ty's sister Megan, she is an assisant director up at Oakcrest this summer, so we only see her on weekends now. Sometimes people mistake us for " blood " sisters, however she is like 5 inches taller than me, and has legs that I would love to have !:)

You can't see it very well in this picture but I made a " headband" banner. It was pretty cute..

I had some candy in some vases and went with the bright colored candies, so I did pixi sticks, jolly ranchers and laffy taffy.

I made this banner for the shower that said " Sweet Baby Girl"

The shower turned out really well and it was fun to plan it for her! Now just a few more months until we get to meet sweet baby girl! :)
