Hudson was born at 3:56 pm on April 4, 2011. It was a MUCH easier delivery than I had, had in the past. He came out bright red, it took awhile for his color to get to a more normal tone. He had a head full of dark hair, just like Karson did. Karson was standing outside the door waiting to come in, he wasn't too sure about everything, but he came in and looked at Hudson.
Hudson was a much harder baby than Karson was. He cried a lot more, got upset a lot faster, and had his big brothers sleeping habits, which were next to none. Hudson was a daddies boy, his whole first year of life, which was nice for Tyler, because Karson was such a mommies boy and would hardly ever let Tyler put him to bed, or comfort him when he was sad etc. But Hudson would always reach for Tyler, and I was glad because I knew it made Tyler feel special.

Throughout my pregnancy with Hudson, my Dr was worried, because I had such little fluid surrounding him. They thought he might only be 4 pounds. Every Dr's appointment would be about two to three hours, because I would be put on a heart monitor machine for him, to make sure he was OK. My Dr's office was very on top of my pregnancy, and it made me feel good to know, I had people doing everything in their power to make sure our sweet Hudson was OK! And he came out a whopping 7 pounds and 7 ounces, and 1 inch shorter than Karson was at birth. He was healthy and strong.

Ty and I had picked out his name at the beginning of the pregnancy. You all know how Tyler doesn't let us tell the name until the baby is blessed, so we were quiet about it. I had liked the names Kayson ( now too close to Karson) and I like the name Grayden ( calling him Grady) but Tyler didn't like those too much, then I thought of Hudson, after TIM HUDSON a pitcher for the Atlanta Braves and Tyler was all on board for that, then I had thought we were going to have Karson's name be Tyler, but Tyler wanted Karson's middle name to be Maddux after GREG MADDUX another Braves player, so we did Hudson Ty, and I love that cute little name!
Hudson was blessed on May 1, my 29th birthday! It was a special day, Ty gave him an amazing blessing!
Hudson is a lot like me, I will admit it! He is short tempered, impatient, sweet and very tender hearted. He feels so bad when he is mean and then gets in trouble for it, he likes to give hugs and kisses and when he is tired, he just wants to cuddle!
Hudson loves big sister Kaili so much. He lets her hold his hand and lead him around the house, she has recently started playing pre-school with him, he will let her do it for about 10 to 15 Mins, and then he looses interest, she would love it, if he would just sit there with her for an hour, but I don't know if that will ever happen, even when he is older. :) Kaili takes good care of him and always wants him to be OK. It's sweet.
Hudson is my best eater and loves to eat anything, my only problem with him, is he will not drink milk! He will drink the milk from his cereal and that is it! But food wise he will try anything and everything, some of his favorite foods are peas and ranch, spaghetti, pizza, apples, cinnamon toast crunch, toast, key lime yogurt, recently mac n cheese, hot dogs, subway sandwiches and fries.

Hudson is OBSESSED with golf, I almost want to say even more than Karson was, when he was two. Hudson has to take TWO golf clubs with us in the car whenever we are leaving to go anywhere, including golf balls and a " hole" which is a old popcorn cup thing of my parents. He says " Go, Golf ball" when he wants to go outside, every morning at the crack of dawn (6 am) he wakes up first thing he says to me when I go to get him is " golf ball" then he will putt in my bedroom or the hallway for awhile. He tries to stick golf tee's in the carpet, and he talks about golf in his sleep. He also loves to play soccer, and baseball and basketball and football! EVERY time I have to bring him inside from playing outside he throws a FIT! He loves to look at books with me, he loves choo choo trains, and cars and watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, FISH ( finding Nemo) and Monsters (monsters inc) I am so thankful to be Hudson's mom, although he tries my patience a lot, he also makes my heart flutter, when he gives me hugs good bye, sings me a song, or dances in the car and says "MOM" twenty times in a row until I look at him dancing. I love that he idolizes Karson, he looks up to him so much. I love that he will cuddle me, read books with me, make me laugh, and tell me my hair looks " cute mom". My life would not be complete without him, and I hope he knows just how much I love him. Happy Birthday sweetheart! You make me so proud, and I am lucky to be your mama!
