Valentine Cookies a little early

So I had been promising Kaili for awhile that we make sugar cookies, because we have that set of 100 cookie cutters from Bed Bath and Beyond and we have never used it. So last weekend we picked out all of the Valentine shapes and set them aside for this weekend. Kaili loves to cook and watches cooking shows. Her favorite is Paula Dean. So she had lots of fun helping me roll out the dough, she kept calling the flour sugar, it was pretty cute. What I did figure out is that my teeny kitchen is not the best for making sugar cookies in! Oh well. It took us awhile, but it was worth it to have fun and spend some time with Kaili. I had also bought her some strawberry shortcake Valentines and she had lots of fun writing on them and making cards for people. I have never made sugar cookies by myself, and it was my moms recipie, they turned out pretty well I thought, but not quite as good as my moms, but I am sure it will come with practice! Easton Shelf

So I wanted to have a shelf where I could put some of the stuff I received for Easton on so people could see. I felt bad that it was just upstairs in the nursery where no one could see it. The stuffed anmial on the left is from my family it was in some of the flowers at his service. The Precious moment statue is called " Safe in the arms of Jesus" and was from my good friend Nicole. The silver box is from my mom adn it is cool because you can open it and keep keepsakes inside. I have a necklace from my friend Danie, a braclet from my friend Jen, my hospital braclets and Eastons. The light blue bear blanket is from my cousins Marie and Erika. We have known each other our whole lives, and when I was little I had this " blanky" I always had with me so they got that for me and had his name put on it. The stuffed animal at the end was from the Hospital. Oh and that stuffed animal is holding a star Christmas Tree ornament my mom gave me that has Eastons name engraved on it and birth date. I have other things that are around my house as well that are for Easton, some willow tree statues, other pictures and then ceramic molds of his hands and feet from the hospital, Iwill have to post that sometime. As exctied as I am for this new baby growing inside of me, sometimes the tears just fall, because as a mom there will always be a missing piece of my heart for my first born Easton. I know he is watching over me and I cannot wait for the day until I can hold him in my arms and learn all about him. I miss him very much!

On Monday I took the day off to spend with Kaili. We had a fun day. We went to Sweet Tomatoes with Rylee and Katie for lunch and then back home to hang out. Kaili loves playing with her art desk and making notes and papers for people. So that is what she was doing on our bed, while watching cartoons. I meanwhile was doing some much needed house cleaning! It's always fun when we get to spend extra time with Kaili!

Memories.....

So I was looking at all of my pictures I have on my computer at work, and I thought I would post some wedding pictures. My two year anniversary will be March 11. I can't believe it has almost been two years. My life has changed so much, and for the better! It was so COLD on my wedding day, it reminds me of how cold it is today! I went without a coat for awhile, but then I would have to put it on to keep my arms warm! I loved my wedding day! I love you honey!

SICKNESS!

So the whole month of December I was pretty much sick with a head cold. No big deal I can handle that. Then on New Years Eve my throat started hurting really bad and I just went down hill from there. Last Saturday night at 11:30 pm Ty and I had to go to Alta View ER because the Insta Care was closed and I could not make it through the night with out some help. I thought my ear drum was going to burst inside of my right ear, the pain was HORRIBLE. When I was younger I would get ear infections a lot and just cry on the floor in pain, I now remember why. So I have an ear infection and sinus infection and cough and head cold. HORRIBLE. They gave me some antibotics and a shot of morphine at the hospital because I couldn't even think straight it hurt so much. The antibotics have helped the ear, but my right ear is still plugged and thier is a constant ringing in it. I can't wait unti that completely goes away! I took last Thursday off of work, and yesterday, and I am here today. I am feeling a little better, but all the drainage makes me cough, so when I lie down I am coughing my lungs up! YUCK! I haven't been this sick in a LONG time, and being pregnant on top of it is really wearing me down! So sorry for that little soap box just had to complain for a bit!

BABY!

So I had a Dr appointment today. I was able to hear the babies heart beat loud and clear which was lots of fun! The Dr. said everything looks great, I am measuring right on track and things are good, I only gained 1 pound from my last appointment, which I am quite proud of myself for beings that it was Christmas time and all. My next appointment is on January 31st and I will almost be 17 weeks then and then we will schedule the ultrasound to find out what it is. Tyler is doing well with giving me shots, it hurts, but he is doing a good job. So that is my little baby update. Oh and we are pretty sure it is a girl, but we will be thrilled with whatever we are having!
