JANUARY

So...January always seems to be an interesting month doesn't it? First month of the new year, everyone has plans of what they are going to do to better thier life etc. January is cold, and gray and quiet. Nothing too exciting happens. January for me has been a little stressful. Tyler has been jam packed with homework, papers, power point presentations, essays, tests, you know all that fun stuff.
I had to do the 3 hour glucose test to see if I had gestational diabetes, I am VERY HAPPY to report that I DO NOT have that, and my numbers came back fantastic, so that was a huge weight lifted off my shoulders.
I did get a season pass to the aquariam ( only $23 for the whole year and it costs $9 to go ONCE, Kars and I have already been back 4 times, 5 by the time this week is over, do the math, it was worth it) Karson is free until he is 3, but even then a season pass for him is $20. He LOVES the fishes, and his new favorite shows to watch are Finding Nemo and Happy Feet. He is dying for warm weather though so he can go outside and play golf, soccer, baseball, football, anything he can do as long as he is outside!
I am almost 30 weeks, and it is so crazy how fast the time has flown by. I feel kind of ready for all the changes coming our way, but I know it will take some adjusting for all of us!
Tyler is ALMOST done with school and we are SO happy the end is near
I have had some major stress dealing with other things in our life, that aren't always the most fun things to have to deal with, but you deal right?
I am glad we are almost to February! It's a pretty good month I think!

Christmas Morning 12/25/2010

So Christmas morning was a little "off" for me this year and I hardly took any pictures, which makes me so mad now, but nothing I can do about it! Next year I will just have to be better at remembering to do that. The kids didn't wake up until about 7:45...Kaili woke up once at 4:30 and Karson woke up a few times during the night, so I think that is why they were able to sleep in a little longer! They were so excited to go downstairs to see what Santa had brought...Tyler was getting the video camera ready and I know to them it felt like forever! Finally we let them come downstairs, Kaili was so excited, and I could tell Karson was too, although he was a little confused.
He calls presents " prizes" and he kept pulling out wrapped things from his stocking telling me "prize, prize, prize" he was so cute with his stocking took his sweet little time to open everything which I loved!

Kaili always loves going through her stocking and tells us every year that the elves really packed her stocking well!

Opening up a " choo choo" from his stocking, he was so happy with all of the train things he got for Christmas.

Kaili and Kars even helped Dad open his stocking stuff, before they opened any presents. They were both so good during the morning.

From Santa Karson got a new police truck, 8 mini monster trucks, and a Woody and Buzz Duplo train set. Kaili got a princess art kit, A mini build a bear set where you stuff and make your own stuffed animals, Panda Bears are her favorite, so of course a Panda was included, and a zhu zhu pet salon. She also got a new game Connect 4 from Ty and I, that she and Ty had a lot of fun playing together on Christmas morning, LOTS of DVD's, Over the Hedge, Tinkerbell, Camp Rock, Hannah Montana 1 hour episdoe, Flicka, Ferngully and I think that is all the movies. Kars got Toy Story 3 and Mickey Mouse Club Choo Choo Express, he also got a new game and some puzzles. Kaili got a case for her camera from Ty and I, and Karson got some Mickey Mouse Books.

She was so excited to open the new Tinkerbell movie!

I Love this picture of her, I think it's so cute!

For breakfast we had waffles, with whip cream and raspberries, eggs and some bacon. Chocolate milk and orange juice as well. It only took us about 1 hour and 20 mins to open everything up,but then we stayed downstairs until 12:00 opening up boxes and playing with all the new toys! Karson playing with his new train mat.....
Even though Christmas didn't turn out how I had it played out in my mind we still had a nice time. Tyler got $$ to go towards our new TV for the basement, and I surprised him with some Jazz tickets for the January 28th game, in his stocking he got a glass BYU mug, 3 movies and some treats. I also made him a calendar of me and the kids for him to take to his office. I got a new camera (yay) which I have yet to even open, because we have been so busy! I got the new Nicholas Sparks book Safe Haven, which I read and loved, and he surprised me with a new Crock Pot Cook book and a very cute necklace he had made for me. I got some lip gloss and lotion in my stocking as well as some treats.
Karson ended up becoming really sick Christmas night and we took him to the Dr. on Monday and told us it was viral, we then had to take him back to the Dr on Thursday and turns out he had, had 2 severe ear infections! He handles it like a champ, but I know it's got to hurt! I can't believe Christmas is over, but I know it will be here before I know it again! :)

94 Days to go......

Well according to my pregnancy ticker, I have 94 days to go until our sweet little guy gets here, if we are going roughly off past experience, we could say I have about 73 days until the little guy comes! Lets hope I last until at least April 1! But only time will tell....This pregnancy I have never felt more frazzled! I forget EVERYTHING! Here are a few of my recent forgetfulness issues:
* Yesterday morning I was making haystacks, I put the chicken and sauce in the crock pot to cook all day since I would be at work all day, I put the rice in the rice cooker and set the rice cooker to 8 hours for delayed timing, however I forgot to push white rice after...when I got home from work, the rice, was the same as I had left it, not cooked at all!
* I went grocery shopping on Tuesday, wrote out a list, like I always do, and my #1 item I wrote at the top in big letters TRASH BAGS, I forgot to get!
* I gave Kars his antiobotic on Tuesday morning, he has to take it twice a day, the cap of the bottle is really hard to turn, so I didnt' close it that tight, I forgot to tell Tyler and he went to shake it up, and it splattered everywhere....so we had to call our Dr. to order us another antibotic for the last 5 days of the cycle...sigh....
* I made Karson popcorn last night, because he was hardly eating anything, I let him eat it in his room while Ty was working on a paper and I hopped in the shower. Later Kars and I went downstairs to play, he asked if he could get his doggie and blanket and I said sure, forgetting the popcorn was up stairs on his bed, he went up there and knocked the popcorn bowl over in attempting to get his stuff...it was an accident...but my fault...I should have remembered...
* I can't remember when I sent bills in or if I sent them in at all, what I said an hour ago, what time things start at.....I am going insane!

Those are just a few of the many recent examples of my forgetfulness! I just don't feel like myself and it has been really hard on me. Hopping into my 3rd trimester I am feeling the tiredness again, my body is aching, especially my hips, legs and lower back. I wake up all the time with charlie horses, or my hand or foot is asleep, I am getting my headaches again, and not sleeping much! I am still stuffy as I have been this whole pregnancy. It's all worth it though, because even though being pregnant is insanely hard and uncomfortable, the outcome is so worth it!

Karson is into things all baby now and we taught him how to say the babies name and it is the cutest thing ever! I know he will be jealous for awhile, but then I think he will be a great big brother. My mom and I bought some paint to repaint Karson's room on Tuesday and I am excited to get that all going, Tyler put together my new rocking chair I got for Christmas the other day, and I have some diapers, bottles, binkis, blankets, and clothes ready to go. I just need to stock up on formula and more diapers.....I can't believe how soon he will get here, and how quickly our daily routine will change. I know it's going to be hard and a lot of adjusting on everyone's part, but I am so thankful and feel so lucky, that we get to welcome another little boy into our home!
