So yesterday afternoon I was wrapping some Christmas presents and watching White Christmas with Karson. He was happy as can be watching me and listening to the music from the movie. I love White Christmas, to me it is a Christmas Classic. I love the message about love, friendship and the simple things in life that mean the most. After the movie ended, Karson was getting hungry so I fed him a bottle and he fell asleep in my arms. I put him down on my bed and laid next to him just watching him sleep. He looked so peaceful and content.

I got up for a second and looked out the window and it looked something like the above picture. The house was silent, the snow was falling quietly and I couldn't help but think of how lucky I am to have this little boy in my life. I miss Easton so much, ecspecially around the holidays, but I am so blessed to have this healthy, perfect, sweet little boy in my life right now. I started thinking of other children in this world who are cold and hungry, or feel unloved, and it broke my heart, because I wish every child could feel safe and secure and loved just how I know that Karson feels that way about his own life. So as I was watching my baby sleep, I said a silent prayer of thanks and I reached for Karson's little hand and he wrapped his fingers around mine and he let out a sigh and smiled in his sleep. And that my friends, is a moment that could only be described as perfect.

Great post!!! Fun pictures! :)
I love those moments where everything is just perfect and time sort of just stands still... It's great you documented it on the blog... We need to print out of blog posts and make blog scrapbooks one day!!
I love White Christmas! Favorite movie for holiday season. :) Okay, I love While You Were Sleeping as well. I'll admit it.
So cute BreeAnn : )
