Remembering

We went up to Eastons grave on Memorial Day ( yesterday) Thanks mom and Dad for the flowers and pinwheels, ( Braves & BYU colors) and someone else had left flowers up there as well. It was raining and wet, but it was good to go up there and visit. It's a wierd thing, because even though I never got to " know" Easton, I miss him every day and he lives inside of my heart. He will always be a part of our lives. He is a perfect little son, and I know we will get to see him again. For Ty and I being so young and experiencing the loss of a child it has put some things into perspective for me and I am truly grateful and thankful for all that I have. I feel so blessed that this pregnancy has gone as well it has and I am so excited to meet this little guy! But Easton is and will always be my first child.
I also always think of the soldiers that have given thier lives for our country and our freedoms and for thier families, and all that they go through for us. They are truly amazing people and I want to say thank you to them. Any time I see soldiers coming home on TV or at the airport, I start crying, because I just cannot imagine what that feels like! Any way Happy Memorial Day and to all of you who have lost someone close to your heart, my thoughts go out to you!

PARK CITY

Ty and I were able to have a little get away this weekend in Park City. We headed up Saturday morning and got to the Outlets around 11:30 we were hungry and so we ate lunch at Ruby Tuesday's and then headed over to the outlets. Tyler's favortie store is now located up there IZOD, they have really nice shirts, that are really soft material and great for golfing and wearing on an every day basis as well. He got 5 shirts from there. He had saved some $$ for a shopping spree. Our hotel room was really nice, above is a picture of our king size bed and the mattress was actually very soft and the pillows were great. The only complaint I would have is that our balcony faced the indoor swimming pool, luckily it closed at 10:00 at night, but I am pretty sure it opened at like 6:00 am because at about 7:00 each morning I got woken up by kids jumping in the water and screaming and it echoing off the walls, so that wasn't very good, but other than that it was really nice!
I bought this cute over all outfit from Osh Kosh for the baby everything was 50% off as well as this cute 4th of July shirt for next year, I already have some cute plaid red, white and blue shorts that are Osh Kosh as well that I bought at COSTCO that will go really cute with that shirt!

Kaili needs some summer clothes, so I got these shorts and two tank tops from Old Navy, they were having a pretty big sale, but not as good as last time I was there, over Labor Day weekend last year the WHOLE store was 50% off.

This is Kaili's July summer outfit, I got it at Osh Kosh and the hair bows and sunglasses from The Chidlren's Place. Very cute! We will have her for the whole week of the 24th of July, it will be fun, but possibly a little overwhelming as the baby will be home, but hopefully Ty will be able to take some time off and we will be able to do some fun things with Kaili.

Here are Tyler's shirts, the middle one is from Old Navy and the others ones are from IZOD, you can't really get the full effect of them but they are really cute.Tyler had never spent that much money in one trip on clothes before, I think it was a little hard for him! :)

Here is his BYU shirt from the Nike Store, and he also got a Nike shirt to work out in, since he is starting to do taebo. Yes after the baby is born, I will once again become the taebo queen!:) So any way after the outlets on Saturday we checked into our hotel and went and saw the new Indiana Jones, I liked it, but I didn't love it. We then went to dinner at Baja Cantina, and I had some yummy steak fajitas and Ty had something with chili verde, because he always gets that. Then Sunday we slept in and went to breakfast, the pancakes I had with my breakfast were really good! We saw Chronicles of Narnia, which was really good too. Then we went back to our hotel and hung out and played scrabble and Canasta! We went to dinner at Red Rock, Ty had a philly steak sandwich that was ok, and I had really good chicken parmesean. Then Monday Ty was all excited to go golfing and we woke up to rainy, rainy weather and cold winds. So we packed up, went to breakfast and headed home, and decided to see Iron Man. I did NOT want to see this movie, because the previews for it were not impressive, but I thought this was one of the best movies I have seen in a long time. I reccommend it to anyone. It was really good. Ty loved it of course! It was a good Memorial Weekend and Ty and I had some good quality time, as we know our lives will be coming very busy with in the next 7 weeks!

green apple photography

So my cousin Lindsey is a photographer and she is making a portfollio. If you click on the link of Green Apple Photography on my blog you will be able to see some very cute pictures that she took of Kaili last weekend at Wheeler Farm! Go take a peek. My brother and sister-in-law are also on her blog as well, she took some pictures of them a couple of weeks ago!

Baby Shower

On Wednesday night I had a baby shower, given to me by Tyler's cousin Amber. She had it at her home and it was very nice of her to do that for me. We had a great dinner of baked poatoes, with many different toppings, salad and rolls and some yummy desserts! Lemon Bars, brownies and some cinnamon bread. It was all really good!
We played a game where she took off all of the labels on the baby food and we had to guess what kind it was by looking at it, and not smelling it. I get 8 out of 10 right I mixed up the green beans and the peas. My mom got 10 out of 10.

We then opened presents and as you can see from the pictures, I got some very cute stuff! I am getting more and more excited every day for him to come and I appreciate all the gifts and for everyone who came!

This is a really cute thing that my sister-in-law Amanda gave to me, I am not sure what to call it a book....or just a really crafty thing, but it has pages and stuff to put in about the baby. I thought it was a really cute idea!

SoMe RaNdOm FaCtS aBoUt Me

* I LOVE peanut M & M's, but I am not such a big fan of any type of nuts really, wierd I know

* I don't think I have ever dyed my hair the same color twice in a row. I am pretty much up for most anything when I color my hair, I am not too picky about it.

* I miss having my nails done! I know it is pointless to have them done with a little baby, because I have tried to dress a baby and button things when I have had nails and it is no easy task, maybe one day I will have them again.

* I miss working out,I mean really working out, when you are red in the face and your body is hot and you are sweating like nobodies business, that is a good feeling to have. Ty and I are going to be Taebo buddies after the baby is born, so that will be fun!

* I miss summer time as a kid. That was the BEST! Making cupcakes and selling them in front of my house, running through the sprinklers and the slip 'n slide, playing kick the can at night, riding my bike, having sleepovers outside on the deck or on somone's tramp, going to " the sev" and getting a slurpee and treats, family parties that were the best, ahh those were the good ole days right?

* I love Diet Dr. Pepper, I do. I love it

* I am tired all the time lately. I do not sleep, my hips are brutal and the past week it seems I have pulled all the muscles in my stomach....well not really but that is what it feels like as this sweet baby of ours is growing, it has been pretty painful lately, but I wouldn't trade it for the world! Because it means our son is growing and becoming stronger!

* I love when Kaili plays " barbie shop" and does your hair, she has the best imagination, and it is halarious to listen to the things that come out of her mouth. She is so creative and it makes me smile.

* I haven't had a Wendy's frosty for over a month! Yes it has been difficult, but I am trying the best that I can to be good!

* I need to buy The Host

* I need to buy a day planner

* I am having a baby in less than 8 weeks and our life is going to change drastically! I am scared, nervous, excited, anxious and so happy!

* I LOVE how Ty and I BBQ chicken. We have done it twice so far, and it is so yummy! All we do is marinade it in soy sauce, put tons of garlic salt and pepper on it, and grill. SO GOOD, and healthy might I add. Ty is becoming the chicken grilling pro. I make the sliced red potatoes, with cheese and onions, so yummy!

* I am a fan of lime popsicles

Wheeler Farm and the rest of the weekend....

So after a sad night on Friday night of watching the Jazz have some troubles, we got up early on Saturday morning to go to Wheeler Farm so Kaili could have her "4 year" old pictures taken. I try to get pictures of her done every year around her 4th birthday. Any way my cousin Lindsey, she is the one who did my wedding pictures with Tyler and my bridals is starting her own business. She is fabulous! She will have a blog and website soon and when it is up I will tell you guys the links. You will have to check her out, I can't wait to see the pictures she took of Kaili. Obviously these pictures are just ones, that I took with my digital camera, Lindseys will be much better, but I thought I would post these few that I did take.
Kaili was a little shy at first, but these pictures are towards the end where Lindsey found this little field and Kaili was having a blast picking the weeds and blowing leaves from her hand. I had never really been to Wheeler Farm in the day time and I didn't realize how big it was, and how many animals they have, and places to eat lunch. I want to go there again soon and walk around and look at everything. It is really cool.

Silly me though, I didn't realize all of the walking we would be doing, on dirt roads and up and down little hills, and I wore the wrong shoes, and by the end of the pictures my feet were killing me. After pictures we went to Red Robin for lunch and then over to Fashion Place mall to look for some new glasses for Tyler. He has had the same pair for about 4 years and he needs to get some prescription sunglasses ones as well, so he doesn't have to squint. Then we went to Toys R Us since we told Kaili if she wa good for her pictures she would get a prize. And she did really well for it being so early and she had a belly ache that morning. Later in the day we hung out with Bethanie and then that evening we took Kaili to the park. Kids loves the park. Ty's parents came over for a visit later, and then it was bedtime. I think I had the worse nights sleep ever on Saturday. My hips were on FIRE, and I couldn't sleep. So Sunday we got up and went to church, after Sacrement, Ty told me I should go home and sleep, which was nice of him since he had to teach the primary class and lesson by himself. It was so nice to go home and sleep though, I fell asleep so fast, and I was so tired, I kept waking myself up because I was snoring so loud and I was drooling on my pillow! Ha! Then we went over to my moms for dinner and hung out, we drove to Layton to drop Kaili off and came home and watched The Desperate Housewives season Finale.....And there you have it folks, my exciting weekend all in a nutshell! :) Lindsey is also going to take newborn pictures of our little baby after he is born and I am so excited and can't wait for those! Thanks Lindsey for taking some time out of your Saturday and taking pictures of Kaili. I can't wait to see them!

Butterfly and sidewalk chalk....

I thought this picture was pretty good of the butterfly on Tyler's fingers. It was just flopping around, because something was wrong with it's wings. Poor thing.
Kaili said she wanted to hold it, but then she really didn't...

Here is Bethanie my little sister, coloring on the cement with Kaili and Ty with the sidewalk chalk, it's pretty much impossible for me to bend over now and do that, so I was just watching. Bethanie and I had left at about 1:30 to go and get a snowie from the snow shack by my house, so after honestly waiting in line for almost a HALF AN HOUR, the guy told us the machine wasn't working! GGGRRR! So we went to 7-11 and got a slurpee, for sure not as good as a snowie. Oh well!

Kaili got this chair for her birthday and she likes to sit in it. It was so warm on Saturday we spend a lot of time outside.

Shooting Star

So this past weekend while we had Kaili in broad day light she kept telling me that she was seeing Shooting Stars, and I didn't know what she was talking about, and then Tyler was with us when she said it again and he figure out that the above picture is what she meant. When the little airplanes fly by and leave that trail of whatever you want to call it....I know nothing about planes! But I thought it was cute that she kept saying she was seeing Shooting Stars.

Kaili's Dance Recital

Kaili is the 4th one in the line, I couldn't get my pictures very close, but you can still see how cute she looked. She did a great job!
Kaili turning around holding the flower

Do you see how Kaili is bent down? Well this is because that is part of the dance, and she was the only one who was doing what she was supposed to be doing! She did so great, and looked adorable!

This costume was so cute! She is the third one from the left. This was her first dance and she danced to Bear Neccessities, and she did great as well, this one was tap and she knew her tap moves for sure! The costumes are brown, and so cute!

So Tuesday night we trecked up to Box Elder High School to see Kaili's dance recital, she did great! We left at 4:00 and traffic was HORRIBLE, we arrived in Brigham City around 5:40 hurried and grabbed some food through an Arby's drive thru, which Tyler HATES going through Drive Thru's and eating in cars, but he was being a trooper. So by the time we got to the High School it was packed! I was worried we would have horrible seats, but we walked up to the very front and the first two rows were pretty much empty so we just sat down and had great seats. I wasn't sure if Kaili would be nervous or just go for it, and she basically just went for it. She didn't seem scared or shy or anything. I was so proud of her! One little girl in her class, cried each time they went on the stage and wouldn't dance, it was sad. Kaili knew her moves and did a great job. She will start gymnastics this summer and I think she will love that too. Thanks to Kay, Matt and Shy and my mom for coming out and watching Kaili. It's hard because of the distance for everyone to make it to things, but it was fun for all who came! Thanks again!

Mothers Day

Mothers Day was a good day this year, it was a little emotional for me, but still a nice day. Tyler made me a yummy breakfast of his delicious scrambled eggs, bacon, toast, orange juice and chocolate milk. It was really good. He then gave me some great ROXY perfume, and a cute braclet. It's funny because In December I was looking at perffumes with Bethanie and I had smelled the one that Tyler gave me and really liked it. He had no idea I had liked that one, so we were totally on the same wave length! On Saturday I was having some emotional trauma and I wasn't sure why, but then I realized it was because the next day was Mothers Day and I was just thinking about the son that I have, that I can't really be a mother to right now. When I think back on the day that he was born, my heart begins to ache a little bit. That day was the craziest day of my life and it will always be in the back of my mind. Even though I didn't get to know his personality, I miss him every day. He is my first born son, and he always will be. I only hope that I can be a good enough mother to the kids I will have on this earth, so that I can be with Easton again. Being a mother to a child who you don't have at the moment, has taught me a lot.
Tyler doesn't like it when I say " Step-Mom" so I will say learning to be the " other " mom has been very challenging. It is a role that I really never thought I would have to play. I have all the mom responsibilities when we have Kaili, but yet I did not give birth to her. As Kaili has gotten older she and I have become closer. I love her very much and feel lucky to be a part of her life. She always calls me mom now and that is the relationship that we have, since I came into her life when she was about 14 months old, she has kind of grown up with me being there. She has a lot going on in her life and she deals with it pretty well. Sometimes it is really hard, because I feel a lot of pressure of other people looking at me and watching what I am doing. But I have just decided that Tyler and I have to do what we think is best for her and that is all we can do. I want her to be happy and feel loved and always feel a part of our family, which I know that she does. When we had her last time, I was in the baby's room reading a book on the rocking chair, and she came in and wanted to start looking at all of the baby stuff, she was so excited and was folding all the burp cloths and looking in the drawers. I know it will be an adjustment for her, with another child in her dad's life, but I also know she will love this baby and want to help as much as she can. I have learned so much from being a part of Kaili's life and hopefully that will help me in raising this little boy that we get to meet in about two months! Thanks Kaili, I do love you very much and I am trying my best for you!

Since Mothers Day was yesterday I just wanted to say something about my mom. I love her very much. And as I have gotten older, I have really come to appreciate and understand all that she does for me and for my whole family. I wasn't the easiest teen ager, I was confusing and shut off a lot of the time, and my mom still stood by my side no matter what. She never gave up on me, and if she had I probably would have given up on myself. She is so willing to help her kids and she loves being a Grandma. She treats Kaili just as if she were own flesh and blood grandchild and Kaili loves her very much. I have learned a lot from my mom. She is so talented in so many aspects, and I only hope that I can strive to be more like her! Thanks mom for all you do! I love you!
I am also so excited for the pending arrival of our son. I feel so blessed and lucky to have been allowed the chance to bring another child into this world. I already love him so much and I can't wait for Tyler and I to meet him. I know our lives will be changing drastically, but this is something I have always wanted and I can't wait to begin this journey!

Weekend

Sorry I don't really have any pictures to post. Last weekend was pretty good. Friday night Ty and I just watched the Jazz game, then Saturday Ty got up early to go and golf 9 holes at South Mountain Golf course. He had a lot of fun with his dad and his brother Matt. While he was golfing, I went over to my parents house for my little sister to dye my hair darker and to give it a trim. Ty picked us up some lunch from a place called Village Baker, it was really good. They have yummy sandwiches and salads, for pretty cheap. Then Ty and I went to the grocery store and did some laundry and headed up to hang out with one of my favorite cousins Erika and her husband Michael and thier cute little girl Kayleigh. We brought some fruit and dip and rolls and Erika made a yummy beef barbeque in the crock pot, with rice, and chocolate cake for dessert. We had a lot of fun just talking and hanging out and playing a few games! We didn't get home until 11:30 but it was lots of fun!! :)

A little story about me...

So today ended up turning into a pretty good day, and here is why. For those of you who know me, you know how I have always struggled with my weight. My whole life it has been an up and down battle of maintaining a good and healthy weight. There has been good things come from this and bad things. In my first marriage I was diagnosed with polycystic ovarian syndrome as well as insulin resistance. Insulin resistance means that my body stores fat more than other people and has a hard time spreading out the insulin through out my body. PCOS is a condition where there are always cysts on my ovaries, when they burst or rupture it is quite painful and this also makes loosing weight difficult, for some reason my body just wants to hold on to my fat content. Lovely! So they gave me some medicine called Metformin, which immideatly started helping me to loose weight, and also the birth control yasmin works for me as well as a diet controller. While being pregnant you are not supposed to take metformin so you can see how this would affect my weight gain during pregnancy!

Before I got pregnant with Easton I worked REALLY hard in loosing weight, and I lost about 13 pounds, this took FOREVER to do because my body wanted to make things difficult. I would go to a WW meeting and leave bawling in the car because it had said I gained .4 of a pound, which is nothing but water weight, but I would get so obsessed with it, I would be devestated. I could tell my body looked better, but those numbers would stay inside of my mind and consume my thoughts. Thus where the obession begins of laying in bed at night, analyzing how many calories I burned at the gym and what I had eaten that day.

I love food. I love desserts, and I love to cook. I gave up food before and I never will again. It wasn't worth it, giving up food just brought so many more problems to my life. I eat a lot of veggies and fruit, I eat wheat bread, so I always thought I was a healthy eater to begin with, but Weight Watchers just made me more aware of what I was eating on a daily basis.

So when I got pregnant this time around, I had not lost all of my weight yet from the prior pregnancy. As soon as I could go after Easton I was back at the gym working out like a maniac sweating bulletts, again slow process. I was very happy that I got pregnant again so quickly though. The only problem was the weight.

Well my last Dr. appointment I went to three weeks ago, my Dr. wasn't too happy with the weight I had gained, and put me on a strict diet and told me she wanted me to try and not gain anything in the next 3 weeks. Well of course as soon as I got out of the Dr.'s office I was bawling. It seems it always comes down to weight for me. So I promised myself that I would work really hard and try to eat what she told me. Obviously this was hard for me because the second week of this was my birthday week, so I tired to keep everything as healthy as I could. It was really hard some days because I would go to bed and my stomach would be aching for food, but I wouldn't eat. I know you are probably thinking that isn't wise to do while being pregnant, but the Dr. said the baby would be fine and he would take all the nutrients that he needed from me.

Today I had another Dr.'s appointment and when they went to weigh me I had lost 4 pounds! Ha! I was so happy to hear that, and my Dr. was very happy and proud of me too. She asked me what I had been doing and I just said following the diet guidelines, she asked me if I cut out all sugars and I said no, I still eat treats just not every day. So it was a Happy Day for me at the Dr.'s office today! I felt much better than I did last time. The baby is doing great, his heart beat is strong and his body is placed just how it should be inside of me. I know I will gain weight, ecspecially water retention these last two months of my pregnancy but it makes me happy to know that I am being as healthy as I can be and that my baby is getting all of the nutrients that he needs!

So to end this post, not to sound too cheesy or anything I just wanted to say THANK YOU to Tyler, never once has he made me feel fat or ugly while being pregnant, and I really do appreciate that, as I think about it all of the time in my mind. I know he loves me for me and thinks I am pretty no matter what and that is a gift that he gives to me, that keeps on giving. Thanks honey. Love you.

Sweet Kyle

So last Friday night my nephew Kyle's belly started swelling up and he was getting really sick. When he gets sick it seems his digestive system shuts down. Well it has progressively gotten worse. He has pneumonia ( I know I am spelling that wrong) and last night his left lung collapsed and his right one isn't too far behind. They have moved him up to the PICU and he has to have a breathing tube shoved down his throat, which I know he will HATE! Kyle has been through so much and he is such a fighter! Already at 3 years old he is a survivor of liver cancer. He has been doing better lately, he doesn't have to wear his oxygen tubes all of the time and he can stand up on his own and crawl up and down the stiars. It's just when he gets a little cold or anything, it can turn into something huge, becuase his immune system is so weak! He came into this world at 1.5 pounds and 30 weeks and he has come so far! Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers to help him have the strength to yet again, fight anothr battle! I love you Kyle!

A

YAY! So Tyler's English grade was posted and he got an A! He had 93 credit hours at SLCC! Can you believe that? It is insane!

Tyler & Grades

So Tyler has officially graduated from SLCC. YAY! He got an A in Humanities, and he got a B in his Business Law Class. English hasn't posted thier grades yet, but I am pretty sure he will get an A in that class as well. He was really worried about his Business Law grade, so last Friday I checked online and saw that it was posted. I was really excited to tell him that he got a B and I was going to fake him out and say that he didn't pass, but for one thing I am no good at practical jokes and for another thing I thought that would be mean ( even though he loves to tease me) so he was really excited about his grade, and I am proud of him. A couple of years ago when Tyler was going through his divorce it slowed him down with school as he had big lawyer fees to pay and he was paying for his school. All the emotional stress of not being able to see Kaili every day and handling things with his every day life, pushed him back, but I am happy to say he fought through it, and he has accomplished much. We aren't sure what the next step with schooling will be but we are keeping some options open! It will be nice to have the whole summer with Tyler not in summer school! Love you babe!

Weekend

Well our weekend was pretty low key, and thank goodness for that, because I am exhausted! I have been getting headaches, and I can't sleep at night. Friday we just hung out at home and played with Kaili and watched the Jazz game. I made some ministrone soup and that was about it. Saturday we ran some errands and went to lunch at Sconecutter and at the last minute decided to go and See " Horton Hears A Who" with Kaili. She liked it, but at times got a little bored with it. Tyler and I liked it and thought it was pretty cute. After the movie, we ran some more errands and went home, Kaili fell asleep in the car and took a nap. We needed to get some cleaning done, so Ty started on the garage, and I dusted, and cleaned the downstairs bathroom and cleaned the counters in the kitchen.Ty then swept and mopped the kitchen for me, because my hips were already aching. The garage looks a lot better and it was nice to get some cleaning done. Now I need to work on the upstairs.
Any way after cleaning and Kaili woke up from her nap we went over to Sweet Tomatoes! Tyler is really sick of this place, but Kaili loves it and I do too, and since I am trying to eat really healthy lately it is good for me to go there. So he was a trooper. Then we went over to my mom and Dads to say Hi since they were leaving for Irealnd early Sunday morning.
Sunday was the usual with church and then we went over to Tyler's parents to celebrate my birthday dinner. They made a yummy meal of Grilled BBQ chicken or teriyaki breasts to put on wheat rolls with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and pickles. They were very yummy! We also had broccoli and cauliflower, wild rice and cabbage salad. For dessert Larry made a peach cobbler it was so good with some vanilla icecream on top! So good! One of my favorite treats! For those of you who don't know cabbage salad, is just cabbage, vinegar, oil, lemon and salt and pepper. I had never had it until I met Tyler and I it is good!
We left Ty's parents and drove Kaili part way to meet her mom, then Ty and I ran over to my parents house again as my little sister had my birthday present for me. she had made me a really cute scrapbook with pictures of us in growing up and some poems she found. It was really sweet and yes of course I cried. Thanks Joie, I love you!
Ty and I then went home and watched No Reservations! We love that movie. So all in all it was a pretty great weekend.

Birthday Week

I had a great birthday week this week. It all started on Sunday with my McDermott side of the family, which I already did a post about. Then on Wednesday my Dad took the office to lunch for my birthday and we went to Sweet Tomato's. My dad gives each employee $50 for thier birthdays as well! What a great boss! Then Wedensday night we went to Mimi's Cafe with Tyler's parents and they gave me $50 as well and a cute book. Got to love the French oninon soup and muffins at Mimi's! Yummy!
Thursday for my actual birthday I came into work only for a half day. Rylee and Katie came into the office and brought me some cute balloons and some toasted wheat thin crackers! Thanks guys! Auburn gave me a new book and Carly bought me some really cute baby boy scrapbook supplies. Work was SO busy all morning long, I was glad to get out of there. So I left at 12:00 and Ty and I were supposed to go to lunch but he was really busy at work, so I went to Zupa's and got us lunch to go and brought it to his office and ate with him there.

After lunch I went to my moms and Keith and my mom and I ran over to Tai Pan, I can't wait until I have a house and I can decorate everything with stuff from that store. They have some great stuff there. Any way then we went to Kohl's and with the birthday money from Kay and Larry I bought me two new pairs of maternity light weight capri's they were 55% off and then I got an additional 10% off so it was a great deal and I desperately need capri's for when the weather turns hot! Right now I only have jeans. I also bought two maternity shirts that were about $10 each. Then I went home and got ready for Ty to get off work.

Ty did a great job for my birthday presents! From the picture above you can see that he got me Mary Higgens Clark new book! I am so excited to read that! She is one of my favortie authors and I have read most of her books at least twice some of them three times, so it is nice to have a new one. The " surprise" face picture is because Tyler also bought me Julie Andrews autobiography. She was on Rachael Ray and Ty and I were watching it and I just mentioned that I would love to read her book. He paid attention and surprised me with it.I had no idea I was getting that! Thanks honey. He also got me two DVD's I had really wanted, No Reservations and 27 Dresses! And he bought me a cute braclet and earings that he picked out all by himself!

After opening presents Ty and I left and went to dinner at Tepanyaki! It was really good! I got a combo of steak and chicken and Ty just got steak. After dinner we took a break and walked around at Old Navy and then we went to Leatherby's. I had been looking forward to Leatherby's for a couple of weeks now, because I know I won't eat ice cream there again for a LONG time! :) It tasted really good and was a great way to top off my birthday! Thanks to all my friends and family for making my birthday so great, and especially Tyler! I love him so much and he did a great job making my birthday special! I am now 26! WOW!
