Baby Talk....

So! I am at 29 weeks and 3 days. it's crazy that I am almost to my 8th month of pregnancy. Since my last cold I have been feeling much better in that department, which has been nice. The things I am experiencing now is one of his feet always seems to find it's way lodged up inside of my rib cage. It is the wierdest thing, because you feel a lot of pressure inside of you. His favorite time to move is at night, when I am trying to sleep, I don't mind at all though, because I like knowing that he is ok. And just ask Tyler, if I don't feel him move around for a couple of hours, I start to get paranoid. My biggest complaint would have to be my hips and sleeping. To try and explain the pain of my hips I will say this, it feels like someone took a hammer and bashed both sides of my hips in. They feel as if they are always bruised and they are sore to the touch. It is impossible to sleep, because if I lay on one side for too long, the pain shoots through me and I am constantly switching sides. So I now understand why pregnant women walk funny all the time, it isn't necceserily because of thier belly, but because they have sore joints like me. I know it will all be worth it and I told myself I would take any pain I got as long as I could have another baby after Easton, so I have tried not to complain too much, because I know it could be a lot worse! It's just wierd how sore my hips are! It used to be just my left side, but my right side is coming along in the soreness department as well. Any way other than that, I am getting really excited and a little nervous for the baby to come. I have been washing baby clothes and blankets, and I am excited!

BABY SHOWER!!!!

This is my mother-in-law Kay. She gave us our car seat. Thanks again!
So here is some pictures of some of the stuff that I got! I got a bunch of great things and it was so fun to open the presents!

This is Sherice, me and Jen. Two of my favorite girls in the whole wide world!

Here is Nicole, me, Carly, Jenny, Emily, Tiffany, Haeli, Sherice & Danie, not everyone was there yet but we still took this picture, and I am glad we did, because the pictures I have of just me and Carly and me and Tiff are kind of blurry!

Here is Danie, me, Jenny and Emily, these three are the ones who planned the shower, and then got some additional help from some of my other friends as well. Thanks guys! The four of us have been through a lot together.

Here is my momma and I before the shower! And below is a picture of my little sister and I. She did my hair and make up for the shower. Thanks Joie!

So I had my first baby shower on Saturday! It was so much fun! It was given to me by my friends and I had a blast! They did such a great job. They had Olive Garden soup, salad, and breadsticks ( my favorite, sadly I did not eat ONE breadstick as I am trying to not eat any "white"carbs, yes be proud of me!) But the soup and salad were great, and my friend Jen brought a yummy cake from Costco with cream cheese filling and cream cheese frosting! SO yummy and you better believe that I had a piece of that cake! I got some great gifts and it was so good to get together and see some people that I don't really get to see on a regular basis! I love you all and appreciate all of your love and support that each of you have given me through out the years of my crazy life! I feel so lucky and blessed to have such great friends, who have come into my life and different times and for different reasons, but you all mean so much to me!Like I said above I have more pictures, but some of them are really blurry, so to those of you who there isn't a picture of us, don't feel bad, I will try and see if I can fix them somewhow. I still love you just as much! :)

Sunday..Happy Early Birthday to me!

So on Sunday my family celebrated my birthday a little early. (It's on Thursday) My mom made a yummy salad bar with lots of different salad toppings, and had some great wheat rolls. I have been eating EXTREMELY healthy the past week and a half to help lower my sugar levels and to not gain a lot of weight at the end of my pregnancy. Those of you who know me know that I eat a lot of veggies anyway, but seriously, lately I have been eating a TON of veggies. So the whole fam got together ( obviously minus Roury who will be home in about a month and a half, woo hoo! ) Any way we ate dinner and played Boxers and Briefs, it was a lot of fun to play with 8 people. It's so funny. Then we opened presents. Rylee and Katie got me Twilight, I have Eclipse, so now I just need New Moon and obviously the fourth book. Luke and Fernanda gave me a Roberts gift certificate, Bethanies present is still in the works, and my mom and Dad gave me two pair of comfy shoes! All of my shoes are pretty high heels, so my mom and I went looking and found some cute comfy shoes. Then they gave me a big surprise, a Guess brand bright pink purse! My mom found it at TJMAX and got a great deal on it. I will post a picture of it tomorrow, but I LOVE it. It is SO me. And so cute! We then had my traditional birthday dessert of strawberry shortcake! Thanks mom and everyone for coming out and celebrating my birthday with me and for all of the great gifts! Love you all! ( I told Tyler he can't give me my presents until my actual birthday on Thursday)

My Tyler....

The above picture is the picture that made me fall in love with Tyler. I just love this picture of him. It was while he was on his mission and I had it in my room. I was going through a box of random pictures yesterday and I found this one and thought I would post it. He is a little sunburned but isn't he adorable?
Here is another picture of Ty, this is like a spitting image of Kaili when she was younger. So I had to post it, and look how blonde he was! Maybe my baby will have blonde hair.

I love this picture of Tyler. I always try to imagine what this baby will look like, if he will look like Easton, or more like me or more like Ty. Easton looked more like Ty and Kaili, so we'll see what this baby looks like. Isn't Ty such a cute little guy? Love you babe!

Administrative Professionals Day

So for 8 years I have worked for a really great boss....my Dad! I have grown a lot over the years and learned many new things. He is a great boss and is always very thoughful. Since today is "Administrative Professionals Day" he takes the whole office out to lunch. We are going to the Olive Garden. He also gets the 3 girls in the office a gift. ( In the summer he takes the guys golfing) Any way my mom helps him out to make everything look cute. This year we got a spa pedicure gift certificate, and some cute flip flops, this cool hand spray sanitizer, some facial cloths and some foot softner stuff. Thanks Dad! I am exctied for the pedicure that I will use when it gets closer to when the baby is born. My hands and feet have been so dry during this whole pregnancy.

Saturday.....

So Saturday was a busy day for us. We went to Harmans and then we went to lunch at Wingers with Kay, Larry, and Megan. I was starving by the time we got there and it was really wierd, because I had started shaking pretty bad and couldn't stop. I ordered a diet coke and side salad really fast and that seemed to help, but it took awhile for my body to stop shaking! I have my glucose test today at the Dr. so we will see what the results are from that. Any way Tyler has been loving Wingers lately. After lunch we went home and got things done around the house and played with Kaili.
Katie had planned a graduation party for all of the graduates since there are 4 of them in our family this year. Tyler didn't feel like he needed to be celebrated, but I am proud of him and his hard work, and he has more of a degree than I do! So in my opinion he did need to be celebrated! Any way we had tinfoil dinners (and they were so good, my mom made the meat like she was making meat loaf and it was really moist), baked beans, salad, rolls, and cake and icecream. All the food was really yummy!

Here is my sweet nephew Kyle, he loves to sit on the floor and empty out all of the toy bins and throw them around the room.

Grandma Bonnie and Grandpa Luke decided to get this swingset for the grandkids, and boy was it a hit! I know where the kids will be all summer long! They wanted to keep playing and playing but it was so windy on Saturday that we could all barely stand to be outside for too long. Before Keith got there Tyler played with Kaili outside for about 30 minutes and she was loving it. I think it is a great investment on thier part!

Any way it was a great Saturday and Kaili and Keith always have so much fun together. I am glad that she has a cousin her same age that she can play with. Congratulations Luke, Rylee, Tyler and Bethanie! Love ya!

Babies Room

So here are some better pictures of the babies room and crib. I think it turned out really well. The lighting in that room isn't very good, so the shade of green looks a little bit different than what it really looks like, but it looks more like a babies room and I am excited to start filling it with baby stuff! Thanks again to Mom and Ty for all of your help. I love it!

Green Paint

So last night Tyler and my mom painted the babies room. You can't tell the color very well from these pictures because the lighting wasn't so great, but today I will take some better ones when we move the crib back up against the wall. It turned out really well and I am excited for everything to look complete! Thanks mom and Tyler for all that you did! I love you both and appreciate it so much! While they were painting I made some lasagna. I have never made it before and it was a pretty easy recipie and I thought it turned out pretty good, for the first time. We also had some garlic bread and salad. It's great to have the room ready so I can start putting stuff away because as Tyler told me that last night " You just like to be ready, and I mean very ready for things" and he is so true on that, I may be a lot of things, but one thing I am NOT is a procrastinator. I would drive myself insane! :)

Weekend

So this weekend was VERY busy. Here's how it went:

Friday: Friday was Spring Cleaning Day at work, we all cleaned the office really well and got a lot done, by 3:00 however my hips and feet were throbbing! Later that night I went to a bridal shower for my cousin Tina, it was a nice time seeing all of my cousins that I don't get to see on a regular basis, but I was extremely tired and soar, so I left at about 8:45.

Saturday: I tried to sleep in on Saturday but woke up at about 7:50 I wanted to sleep in more than that but it wasn't going to happen. So we got ready for the day and set our for our various activities. First we got gas, ugh $3.29 for the cheapest kind! You have GOT to be kidding me. Then I got some hairspray and Ty and I went to Wingers for an early lunch. I got the crispy chicken salad which is always good. We then headed to the U of U art history museum, because Tyler needed to go there for his Humanities class. We were there for a little over an hour, and again I could start to feel the swelling of my feet and hands. When I am on my feet too long, I start to loose the circulation in my hands and they turn bright red and swell up, same thing with my feet. So I was ready to go. We had never been to that museum so it was a good enlightening experience for us to go. After that we drove around down town Salt lake for awhile with the windows rolled down since it was such a nice day. Then we went to Gateway and decided to see a movie, Tyler had never seen a movie there before. The only one with the right timing for us was Drill Bit Taylor. I like Owen Wilson so we thought we would see this one at 2:50 it was funny and a had a good message at the end. After the movie we walked around Gateway ( yes I know more walking) and we ended up at the SkyBox, we went in and decided to eat there. Tyler was in heaven because of all the T'V's and sporting events that were on. I had a turkey club sandwich with onion rings that was really good and Tyler had the Philly Cheese Steak which was really good as well. The atmosphere was fun and we will be going there again for sure. We then treked back to our car to go to the Jazz game. My parents gave us some tickets, because they couldn't make it to the game. They are great seats and it was a lot of fun watching a great game. By the third quarter however it was really hot and I was swelling up once again and my back was killing me! Those are really hard seats! So we got home around 10:00 and I was exhausted and fell right to sleep! We got a lot done and it was fun to have a nice day with Ty! Love you!

Sunday: Sunday Ty had a lot of homework to get caught up on, so he did that before church and later at night. So we went to church and found out the current Primary Presidency is getting released! I really like them, but they have been in it for three years and need a break. Now it just makes it easier for me to ask to get released before I have this baby. This is our 3rd year in primary as well. I need a break too! After church we went to Tyler's parents house for dinner, we had mashed potatoes, roast, corn, jell-o and rolls! Thanks it was really good. Later we went to my parents house and just had a nice time chatting about life and what not. Tyler and my parents of course watched the end of the masters. Not really my thing! :) Any way we went home and I watched Desperate Housewives and Tyler did some more homework! All in all it was a great weekend, I am just tired and soar, but I think since I am now moving into my 3rd trimester that is how it will be from here on out! :) I am starting my 27th week this week!

Some of my Favorites right now.....

Some of my favorite things right now are.....

Frosty's from Wendy's. I want to eat one every day. I don't, but I think about it!

Feeling the baby move. It is so incredible to know that there is this life inside of me, moving around and living, just waiting to come out. It is the strangest feeling and until you have experienced it, there is nothing like that. I love being able to feel him wiggle around.

Zupa's. I had never been to Zupa's until a couple of weeks ago and I really like it. I like thier small salads and soups. Well I have only tried one soup the Wisconsin Cauliflower soup, so yummy! I want to try thier tomotoe basil, but once I find something I like it is hard for me to switch over! There is one right by my work so that is nice for me.

Cereal. Growing up I hardly ever ate ceral, now if I don't eat it in the morning my life is incomplete, and of course all I want our the sugar ones, cocoa puffs, cinnamon toast crunch, lucky charms. I have been mixing in Multi Grain Cheerios and Honey Nut Cheerios, to feel better about it!

Muffins. Blueberry muffins from my Harman's and my mom made these banana chocolate chip muffins the other day that were delicicous. I tried making some cinnamon muffins on Saturday and they were good, but I over cooked them. I have a muffin book, that I want to try using to make some home made muffins.

Lotion. My hands have been so dry lately, from being pregnant and because I go to the bathroom about a billion times a day and so they get dried out from me washing them so much! So I found this hand creme that I love, it's called " refresh" and it makes me hands really soft and smooth!

Sunday

Sunday Kaili was being quite the " poser" for the camera at Tyler's Grandma's house, sometimes she just ignores you when you are trying to take pictures, but Kay had her camera phone out and she kept asking her to take pictures of her, so I thought they were cute and I put them on here. I know everyone keeps wanting to see a picture of my belly so I will try and post one of those pictures soon, honestly I just don't want to see a picture of myself, because it will be depressing!

Here is Uncle Nick, Aunt Amanda, Kaili, Aunt Shy, Uncle Matt and Daddy. I am of course taking the pictures! :)

Saturday

So after conference we told Kaili that we would go and fly her kite we got her for Easter. Well it wasn't as warm as we thought it would be, so mainly Dad flew the kite and Kaili and I watched shivering in the wind. I had even packed up a picnic lunch to eat outside and that didn't happen so we ended up eating it in the car. Hopefully this weather will warm up so we can actually start playing outside.

Saturday night while the boys were at the Priesthood session, my mom, Kaili, me, Katie and Bethanie all went out to dinner. Fernanda and the boys couldn't come because the boys weren't feeling too great. We were originally going to go to Jungle Gym's with the kids, but that didn't work out, so I think we are going to try and take Kaili there in the next couple of times that we have her. Any way we went to Texas Roadhouse at 5:15 and they were PACKED. They told us it would be 30 mins, and one hour later, my mom got us a table! The food was really good, and Kaili loved the rolls and cinnamon butter, she wanted to eat the butter plain. She was starving. Thanks Mom for dinner. Then we took some food to Fernanda and Keith and we drove to the mall so Kaili could go on the Merry-Go-Round, then we went back to my parents house and we watched Hairspray, as Katie had never seen it before and I had only seen it once in the movie theatre. I love the music! And Tyler and Rylee would both rather NOT watch that movie! The boys went to dinner at Famous Daves and got home around 9:45, we didn't leave my parents until about 10:15 and Kaili was exhausted. All in all it was a good Saturday!

Saturday morning while we were watching Conference, Kaili decided to haul half of her room into our bedroom and she was reading stories to her baby. You see that she has her yellow Belle princess shoes on here. The first thing she does when she gets to our house, is go to her closet and put on a pair of her princess shoes. I am glad that $15 present has been such a hit.
