Tuesday May 19 California Adventures

Kaili loves the movie CARS so when we came out of Soaring Over California, a ride that makes you feel like you are hang gliding ( which lets be honest kind of gives me anxiety, and Kaili wasn't too happy about that ride either) any way but then saw these guys and wanted her picture with them and it made her happy.
After these pictures we headed over to Tower of Terror, Kaili waited with my mom and Dad while we went on that ride. It was fun but again that ride is kind of scary for me as they drop you at random moments. Then my parents went on the ride and we went on Monsters Inc, which I thought was cute.
This is Ty and I in line for Tower of Terror. After this ride we headed over to The Grizzley River raft ride, my mom took Kaili on some little kid rides while we did this one. I thought it was fun, there are two hills you go down and it is a longer ride and enjoyable. I got wet, but not too wet.

My mom bought Kaili this cute hat with sun glasses. They have carnival type games there as well and my dad won an electric guitar by shooting baskets and he won Kaili another stuffed animal. It was pretty awesome. He loves playing those games. The longest line was for California Screamin, the roller coaster there which is a pretty awesome roller coaster. The park closed at 6:00 which in my opinion was too early, because we weren't able to do everything. They also have a really cool ride, which is the Toy Story ride, and you wear 4D glasses and it takes you through different screens where you shoot like a mini cannon ball contraption thing that is at your seat and you aim for targets. It was fun. After the park closed we went over to Down Town Disney we shopped around for a bit, Kaili got an Ariel watch and I got a cute Tinkerbell hoodie, and then we went to dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe, which I always find over priced for the food that they offer. Oh well it was still a fun day!

More of Disenyland

I didn't even realize that Ty was doing that in this picture. Giving me a little smooch.
Kaili on Mickey's big chair!

We didnt' even know that Mickey was waiting for us at his house. So it was fun to see him!

Disneyland Part 2: Kaili & Madison

This is Kaili and her friend Madison. Madison is my cousin Brian's daughter she and Kaili are about 5 months a part and they had a ball together. They sat by each other on It's A Small World and Pirates and went on other rides together! I wished they lived closer so they could play together all of the time. They had a lot of fun teasing my brother Roury. He was so cute with them!
We went on Whinnie the Pooh with the girls. It was a cute ride, and after we got out there was a line to see Pooh and Tigger, however we had to wait a little extra long because they had to go on a " 5 minutes honey and water break"
They were so cute hugging pooh!
And of course Tigger!
I think this picture is very cute!

Monday May 18: DISNEYLAND!!!!

This is Ty and Kaili waiting for the park to open. You know how they have the rope blocking off the whole park until exactly the time it opens? As soon as it opened we went over to the Finding Nemo submarine ride, which was a good idea as the line got pretty big. The ride was cute, but not woth the waiting in line for 2 hours that people have done before. As soon as that ride was over we ran over to Space Mountain and waited like 5 minutes! That was AWESOME! I have never had that quick of a wait for that ride in my whole life! Kaili went on it, and she didn't know what she was going on. I think she was pretty shocked the whole ride and then at the end when the lights flashed to take her picture, she started crying. Ty got her calmed down and we headed over to the Buzz Light Year ride.
Kaili loved Toon Town! We have a ton of pictures of her in Mickey's house, she thought it was soo cool to be in his house. Here she is at his desk!~

Here we all are in Mickey's house

I look wierd in this picture because of how I am posed, but I thought I would post it any way.

Here we are for the infamous Tea Cup picture. Kaili loves this ride. I went on it with her and Ty the first time and it didn't make me feel too great. Later Ty went on it with Kaili and Madison(my cousin Brian's little girl) and he spun them around really fast and they loved it.
Kaili and I in the tea cups before the ride started.
My mom and Kaili on Dumbo!

Saturday May 16 & Sunday May 17

Saturday we drove through Vegas on our way to CA. We stopped in at the New York New York for lunch and had some yummy pizza there. Then we headed over to the Excalibur to play some games. I won that blue teddy bear for Kars doing one of those racing games where you roll the ball and move your person. And My dad won Kaili those two white bears she named them Lucy and Leah. Kaili loves Sponge Bob so we had to get a picture!
We got into my Aunt Florence's home on Sunday evening around 5:00 I think. She is the wife of my Uncle Keith who passed away in December. My Uncle was in the process of designing this pool, so my Aunt finished it before his birthday in April. It is gorgeous! Their back yard is like a perfect "play" back yard, they have the pool and hot tub, a putting green, horse shoes, a volleyball net and a really nice BBQ.

Under the water fall is a seat where you can sit. It is the kissing seat as my Aunt calls it.

This is Kaili on Sunday after church she was having a ball in the shallow end of the pool, she kept doing all of these tricks and what not. It was funny.

We went to Sacrement Meeting Sunday morning.

My Uncle Doug, Keiths older brother came over and made us some YUMMY steaks, we all hung out in the pool and chatted and had a good time before we had to leave to head to New Port.

Friday May 15: The Beginning of our Vacartion

Tyler wanted to take a picture of us at the start of our trip. So here we are at Chuck-A-Rama before driving down to St. George. We got to St.George around midnight. I played Ty's ipod in the car and slept, Kaili was exhausted and slept most of the way down. I was stressing about our house and carpet and Karson and so that is why I think I started to get sick.

Mothers Day

I had a great Mothers Day. Saturday Ty went out to run some errands and he came home with some beautiful flowers for me. It was a very nice surprise. They are so pretty!
On Sunday Ty gave me a very nice card, 3 new lotions, and a cute small purse to take on our cruise and to California.

These are the roses! Aren't they gorgeous?

Saturday night I decided I wanted to go visit Easton's grave. Mothers Day makes me think of him, since I am after all his mom. So I just wanted to go visit him. After we went there we went to one of our favorite little Mexican places called Cancun. It was really good!

My whole life I have always wanted to be a mom. I am thankful for the moms in my life, and for the examples they are to me, and for all the service they give to me and my family. I am thankful for my mom who never gave up on me, even when the light in my eyes was quite dim. She always believed in me. I am thankful to be a mother figure in Kaili's life, even though I am not her real mom, I love her very much. I am thankful to have two beautiful boys, Easton & Karson. Even though I don't get to have Easton now, I know he is watching out for us in heaven. Giving birth to and losing Easton was an experience I will never forget. When I think about it, my heart aches with pain as I remember that day. But then I was blessed with Karson, who is such a good baby! I love him so very much, he is the light of my life. Thanks Tyler for making me have a great Mothers Day! And Happy Mothers Day to all of you!

Verdict is in- Karson needs Tubes in his ears

So yesterday we took Karson to an ENT and it was determined that yes he will need tubes in his ears! Sad! We have it scheduled for Friday June 5th, bright and early in the morning. I think one of the hardest things is going to be not letting Karson eat after midnight the night before. He eats at least once in the middle of the night, and then in the morning, so it is going to be hard for me to know that he will be starving! So hopefully right after he is out of surgery I can feed him!
The good news is that his current ear infection has cleared up,so hopefully he will stay ear infection free until the surgery, because if he gets another ear infection before then, they have to push the surgery back and I Just want to get it over with! Poor guy! He is a trooper though, always so happy!

Tyler & Kaili on the go-carts

Kaili was all for riding the go-carts! She was getting bored waiting in line, but had a blast when she and Tyler finally got to ride them.

When we're helping we're happy.....

Karson loves to " help" me do the laundry. Whenever he seems me pull the dryer door down, he crawls over as fast he can, pulls himself up and starts slapping the dryer door. At least it keeps him occupied while I am trying to do laundry! I Love this little guy so much!
Karson is learning how to give kisses now and it is so cute. He also loves spaghetti, ramen noodles, ice cream, yogurt, bread and basically anything we will give him!

Boondocks/Birthday Weekend

So Friday all day the weather had been pretty decent and then as soon as we got in the car to drive to Boondocks, it decided to start raining. I almost started crying! Thursday had been a pretty stressful day and I just wanted there to be good weather for my birthday. But of course I can't control the weather. When we got to Boondocks it was packed with I swear like a million 12 year olds. But I should have expected that. So I was in a pretty bad mood at first.

As soon as everyone got there, we ate dinner and then went outside to ride the go-carts. Because it was raining they were only running 8 cars at a time when normally they run like 24 at a time. Also another go-cart track was closed due to the rain, so we waited in line for lilke 45 minutes. While in line I decided to not be in such a bad mood, and just enjoy my birthday. My family had come out to support me and I realized I was being petty. So after go-carts we played mini golf on one of their really cool courses. I even got a hole in one, and Kaili had a few 2's.

Then wen went inside and played the arcades. It was a lot of fun. They have a really cool Deal or No Deal game that was fun to play.

We were there until 10:00, Karson and Kaili were so tired, and all in all everyone had a lot of fun! Thanks to my family for all coming out to play with me on my birthday. Saturday I was able to go to the mall and use my Forever 21 gift cards everyone gave me, and the American Express Card I got for Administrative Professional Day. I was able to get 2 pairs of earings, some head bands, 3 shirts and a dress at Forever 21. At Down East I got 3 shirts and 2 tank tops. I only spent $6 of my own money. The gift cards covered the rest. Then Ty and I were able to go see a movie on Satuday thanks to Amanda who watched the kids for us! Saturday night we just hung out at home. Sunday we had my birthday dinner at the Fankhausers! We had yummy grilled hamburgers, pasta salad, chips and a yummy yellow cake, cream cheese strawberry dessert. Thanks to everyone who helped make my birthday so special. I am lucky to have so many great people in my life!

Birthday Cake

Tyler left work on Friday at 3:30 and got home early and surprised me with this yummy Cookie Dough Ice Cream Cake from Coldstone. It is SO good, and it was a good surprise! I had no idea he was coming home early or bringing me a cake. Thanks honey, I loved it.
