Monday September 10, 2012 California Adventure

After two years of saving our cold hard cash, we went on our much anticipated trip to California Adventure, Disneyland, and Sea World! My parents came along with us to help us out, and boy were they a BIG help! We had so much fun, the kids were great, and it was so fabulous to watch them experience everything.

The park was open from 10 to 8 on Monday, so knowing me we got there oh about an hour earlier, but it wasn't too bad at all. Tyler and my mom stood in the fast pass line for Radiator Springs first thing so we wouldn't miss out on riding the ride. Tyler, Kaili, Karson and I walked right through the fast pass line and when we got up to our turn, the ride broke down! :( We then had to wait 45 minutes to ride the ride!  It was really fun though and is about 4 minutes, you have to be 40 inches to ride it. Karson loved it until the racing part, you do go pretty fast, but he didn't cry and it was fun!

Monsters Inc was a hit with all the kids including Hudson. He loved it! He would point at everything and say "oooohhhh and aahhhh" He didn't cry once on any ride. Infact today at home, he saw our Monsters Inc movie and wanted to watch it and was laughing his head off at the movie, it was the cutest thing!

Kail and Karson  brought thier autograph books and were excited to meet all the charachters. Toy Story was a big hit as well as The Little Mermaid ride which never had a line. We walked right on that ride and the kids loved that one as well. We stayed and watched The World of Color show which is pretty awesome, but the kids had a hard time waiting an hour for it to start, in such cramped quarters, we ended up leaving it a bit early. But it really is a great show! We played some games, ate popcorn, and ice cream and had a blast our first day there !:)

Karson First Day of 2nd year of PreSchool

I can't believe my sweet 4 year old is starting his second year of preschool! Where did the time go! He was so excited to put on his back pack and pose for me on Monday! He is loving Star Wars right now so he wanted to make sure I got a full view of his backpack! I just love this kid so much!
