Favortie time of year and oh yes FALL TV!!

I love fall. I wish we had fall for a full 3 months like we are supposed to, but we never do in Utah. Have you noticed the mornings lately? They are clear and crisp with a light cool breeze. L.O.V.E it! Everything changes the smells, the sounds the scenery, I adore fall time. If I am in the mood, I enjoy watching a good old college football game and some of the World Series. I love making pumpkin chocolate this, pumpkin chocolate that. I enjoy putting up my Halloween decorations and fake fall leaves. This year also brings on oh so MANY anticipated TV Show Premieres, lets go through them shall we?
Gossip Girl- Oh yes! Please bring on that pathetic New York City teenage drama that is so enticing!
Lipstick Jungle- Uh yes please!
The Office- Come on, Jim PROPOSE TO PAM already!
Eli Stone- I haven't heard if this is coming back or not yet, but it better because it was so good!
Hero's- FINALLY, we waited forever for this one!
Sitcoms like The Big Bang Theory, Rules of Engagement and The New Adventures of Old Christine and a new one I want to watch Kath & Kim
And let us not forget, Law & Order SVU, CSI: New York CSI: Miami, NCIS
Private Practice
Grey's Anatomy- I am not so thrilled about this one, but I will probably still watch it any way, lets try not makign Meredith SO Pathetic and issue filled this season shall we....
So call me pathetic, call me what you want, I call myself well rounded because for as much TV as we watch in the Fall/winter I still read books, be active and have a life. DVR is our lifesaver! We love it!
YAY for fall time and fall TV shows!

New Blog

Hey so I have made another blog, I will obviously still be keeping this one, but I wanted to do another one where I could post recipes and random things. I actually copied my friend Cheryl! Sorry Cheryl, and thanks for the idea! My new blog is called " BreeAnn's Stuff" the link is
breeannsstuff.blogspot.com, under my list of family and friends I have it listed as " My Stuff" any way I have posted a recipe on there that is really yummy that you guys should go and check out!

What IS it with lunges?

Hey all. So Ty and I have decided to try and be very healthy in our eating and also try to work out. I ordered these " Slim in 6" dvd's a long time ago and only did them for awhile, so we busted them out again. We just started on Monday night so we have done them twice now, and we are on the beginner one " Start it Up" once you feel comfortable with that one you move onto
"Ramp it Up" and lets just say that my upper thighs are SO soar. To sit down and get up from sitting down is BRUTAL! And going up and down our stairs in our house is insane. I really hope we are into a house (a rambler) by the time we have our 2nd kid, cause going up and down the stairs all the time to get stuff is a pain and even a bigger pain when you are soar! But at least I know those dang lunges are working! Even in high school when I was in killer shape if I would do lunges in a work out the next day I would be soar, so the goal is to get my legs so toned, lunges won't phase me! Ha! We'll see how long that takes. Wish us luck~

On a side note we, well I guess I rented " What Happens in Vegas" last night for us to watch and I will rate it a 7. :)

Cute outfit...cute shoes

So here are just some random pictures of Karson from Sunday,Bethanie gave him this cute outfit, it is 3 months so just a tad too big still, but it still looked cute. My mom bought him those shoes from Baby GAP just for fun and thought I would take some pictures of them!

Giving us a little smirk! He is smiling so much now and it is so fun when he looks right at you and smile. It's sad that he is growing so fast, but I love watching all the new little things he comes up with to do.It's amazing how much they grow!

I love baby jackets they are so cute! I just love this picture of him!

Saturday Night

Tyler & Michael playing a race car game, Tyler won...good job honey!
So Saturday we invited my cousin Erika, her husband Michael and thier daughter Kayleigh to come hang out with us at Jungle Gym's, it's only $8 for an all ride pass and Kaili has fun. So they met us at Paradise Bakery and we are dinner, and then headed over to Jungle Gym's, thier little Kayleigh loved it too ecspecially the swings. Our Kaili was so cute with her holding her hand walking with her and going on the rides with her. It was a great time and we were glad they could come with us!

Oh and by the way Friday night Karson slept from 10-2 and then from 2:45 to about 6:30, it was AMAZING!

"Ana Ontana"

Kaili: Ok mama I am going to be Ana Ontana (a.k.a Hannah Montana) and you will be Miley Cyrys, they are friends you know
Me: Ok Hannah Montana
Kaili: Oh Miley Cyrus I have to sing tonight ok, you be my friend and you cheer for me and I will sing.
Me: Ok
Kaili: Thank you, thank you very much
I dug out my old gold microphone for Kaili to play with this weekend, she has been singing and perferming a lot lately in my high heels and having fun with it so I let her play with it, when she starts singing she is always Hannah Montana and comes up with the craziest songs!

Another story: I was feeding Karson in his bedroom and Kaili comes in and says this.
Kaili: Hey friend. My name is Zela and your name is Tara, and babies name is Brandon, just pretends K?
Me: Ok Zela. What are you doing tonight?
Kaili: Oh I have this party to go to at 9:00 and do you know what? These shoes were 90 bucks! Me: 90 bucks! How come?
Kaili: Oh just cause, oh can you hold a second my sister is calling me. (proceeds to get on her fake phone and have this conversation) I am so mad at you sister! Why are you doing this to me? we need to go to the party, no sister, I said no, do what I say! Oh my gosh sister! ( Then says to me)
Oh Tara I am SO mad at my sister and she is so mad at me. So you want me to watch your baby at 6 o'clock or 9 o'clock?
Me: I thought we were going to a party
Kaili: Oh yeah thats what my said

Kids will say the darndest things!

CUTE Blocks!

Tyler's mom made these cute blcoks for Karson to put in his room, she also made some for Kaili that are WAY cute and I will take a picture of those ones tonight and post tomorrow. Below I took some up close so you could see them better, they are way cute! Thanks Kay!

Weekend....

Karson loves sitting up already and holding his head on his own, so I thought i would put him in this chair and see how he did, ( do not be alarmed, I know it's close to the edge of the bed, we did not leave him there like that, it was just for the picture) any way he really likes that chair, it says it is for 3 months and up but he was pretty content to sit in it for awhile, he is so strong!
So this weekend was pretty low key for us, which is what I needed. Friday night Tyler's brother Nick and his wife Amanda came over and we had a little bbq and then watched The Olympics. Saturday we slept in as much as we could, I actually woked up at 6 with Karson, but then went and slept on the couch from 7-9 which was nice. I then went to the gym and the grocery store and Ty stayed home with Karson. When I got back we watched more Olympics and then Ty had to go into work, so I hung out with Karson and watched " Fever Pitch" I love that movie. Ty's work took them to his favorite place for dinner after he had to work, Goodwood Barbeque, it's really good and Tyler loves the ribs there. When he got home I had just started watching 13 Going on 30 and what a sport he watched the whole thing with me. Sunday we went to church and to both of our parents house, it was a good weekend! We get Kaili on Wednesday night this week so it is looking like another busy week for us!

This shirt is from Ireland, it says" I'm the Boss" my parents brought it home from thier trip thier in May, I thought he looked so cute in this outfit in his little shorts, because he looks like a little boy and not really a baby, those shorts are 3 months! Karson will be 2 months on Tuesday and I have to take him to the Dr. and he will be getting shots, so I am really sad for that, hopefully I can handle it! Wish me luck :)

Me ane my little work buddy...

So bringing Karson into work isn't as easy as I thought it would be....we have been here since 7:15 a.m and he has only had ONE nap from about 12:30-2:00 and I can tell he definately needs some more sleep, but he refuses to do so. The morning was hard, because I had to hold him a lot and try and do things, and then I would set him down and he would be fine for 5 minutes and then his binki falls out of his mouth and he gets mad, so I have to get up every 3 seconds it seems like and put it back in his mouth.
It's nice having him here so I can be with him, but at the same time I am not sure how long it will last, maybe until he is 4 months or so and then I am going to need a new solution....which gets tricky....I decided I really need to bring his bouncer seat in though, because I think that would help me, he likes the music and what not. The play-yard thing has music but we don't have any batteries for it yet, better get some!

He was smiling so good and I was trying to get some pictures but he just kept wiggiling around, but here he is smiling.

I sure do love him though!

Bragging Moment....

So some of you know and some of you don't know that the Country music band SheDaisy is made up of my first cousins, Krsityn, Kelsi, Kassidy and sometimes Karli. ( my dad and thier mom are brother and sister) They just recently finished writing and recording thier 5th CD and the last song on the CD is called "Lost Without You"and it is written and inspired by our story with Easton. My cousin Kristyn (she is the blonde of the group) is an AMAZING writer and she received an e-mail from me and picture of Easton the day before she had a writing meeting. This was all happening last summer when the wounds were still fresh in dealing with what happened with Easton. That night she wrote down some thoughts and from there, made a song. I haven't heard it yet, but hopefully I will get a copy of it soon, they are hoping for it to be a single and to one day be put on a movie sound track...they say it has that kind of feel to it. I am so lucky to have them as my friends and cousins and for them to include a piece of my heart and life into thier music.
Sidenote: On thier first CD The Whole Shebang Song #6 " Still Holding Out for You" was inspired by my aunt who lost her husband to an airforce airplane accident, he was training to become a pilot and the plane crashed. My aunt had two small children at the time and was left to raise them alone. Some 20 years later she has remarried, but I know this song still holds a special place in her heart as well in the rest of our family. Here are some words to that song below!

Never thought I'd be in this place, It's someone else's life I'm living
Wish I were living a lie The hardest part is when the bough breaks
Falling down and then forgiving
You didn't kiss me good-bye
I'm choking on the words I didn't get to say
And pray I get the chance one day
I stil run, I sill swing open the door I still think, you'll be there like before
Doesn't everybody out there know to never come around
Some things the heart won't listen to I'm still holding out for you
I can hear you smile in the dark I can even feel your breathing
But daylight chases the ghosts I see your coat and I fall apart
To those hints of you I'm clinging Now's when I need them most
I should get up, dry my eyes and move ahead
At least that's what you would have said

I won't be able to post the words to Easton's song until their CD comes out,but that just means you will all have to go out and buy it. Songs tell a story and each of Kristyns songs that she writes has a meaning behind it.I feel so priveleged to be a part of her storytelling, even if the story is sad, I know in my heart some day I will have a happy ending with Easton. " Still Holding out for You" was also written about someone else as well, but due to the privacy of that matter, I won't mention it on here.

Give....me....caffiene.......

So! Diet Coke and Diet Dr. Pepper are my new best friend, after the baby while I was nursing I was trying not to drink it, but since the whole nursing thing went down the drain, I started again. Now I don't drink it every day and I usually only have one during the day if I do, but let me just tell you if I drank coffee, I would be a coffee drinking machine, because some days I cannot function with out it. I am SO tired, for example last night I was up at 12:00, 2:00, 4:30, 5:40 and 6:00, THAT was my night folks! So sadly caffiene I cannot live with out at this moment in my life, so yay for DIET drinks, cause lets face it if I drank the real stuff, I would be a fat balloon!

Karson's home away from home...and almost smiles

So here is my sweetheart snoozing away at my work. So far the morning has gone pretty good, he hasn't cried loudly or anything....lets hope that continues
So this cool contraption can be a changing table, bed, and play yard for when he gets bigger. It works really well and sits right in my office. Today is the first day I have brought Karson into work, and since I got about 4 hours of sleep last night I am exhausted! But he is being pretty good for me, we'll see how the afternoon goes!

The little stinker was smiling his head off...just not in these pictures, I couldn't capture a smile on camera, but his face still looks cute, so I posted the pictures any way!

Look at that face!

So Karson's hair is curly when it is wet, this is what it looks like after he takes a bath. He also loves his binki and gets so mad when it falls out of his mouth in the middle of thenight! He always has his hands by his face too. He is so freaking cute,I can't even stand it!

Back to work, the gym and other random thoughts....

So I am officially back to work. I have had different emotions about coming back and I don't really know what to think of them all. On one hand it is nice to be in the adult world for awhile and help people solve thier problems and of course it is nice to be able to make money again. I know that I am also very lucky because I have two family members, my mom and Tylers mom to watch Karson on Mondays and Wedensdays and then I get to bring him into work with me on the other day I work. We are going to set up a play yard in my office tonight for him. I will take some pictures of it and post later. I know a lot of people don't have the luxury of only working 3 days a week and of being able to bring thier baby into work with them. Thanks Dad!

Monday I didn't get home from work until almost 7:00 because after work I went to the grocery store and to get gas and to subway to get dinner. I was exhausted from what seemed like the longest day ever, then I saw Karson and as soon as he heard my voice he turned his head and looked at me, it is amazing that already he knows who I am. I started crying when I picked him up and just hugged him for a long time. It is amazing the love I feel for him. I think once I get used to this routine I will feel better and all will be well with the world! :)

He is starting to smile and I can never get my camera fast enough to catch him at it, the little stinker, but it is so fun watching his facial expressions and watching his growing personality.

I went to the gym for the first time yesterday since I had Karson and it felt GOOD. I am excited to start implementing this back into my life again. I am going to go again tonight although after having only about 4 hours of sleep last night and being at work all day, I know I will not want to, but I have to be consistent to see results! Now that I am not pregnant everywhere I look has cute clothes! I want to buy, buy, buy, but I know I can't. I need to wait and be patient and fit into the clothes I have NOW and then I can buy some new pants and skirts. Shirts I can buy now, and I have bought a couple $9.99 Target special shirts since he was born. I just need to feel cute and fun gain you know?

YES I am reading Breaking Dawn, I am going to have to read it again after I am finished, but I just want to know what happens. I will always feel that Twilight is the best one out of the series, but after I read each of them a couple of times, they grow on me. I am not reading it as fast as I would like, but I have other cute little things that keep me busy, besides worrying about finishing a book.

It is an interesting thing when you have a child of your very own, things that used to matter to me before don't really. I have never been one to really care what people think...too much,I mean I think on some level we all care what others think of us, but now that I have Karson, and Tyler and Kaili I REALLY don't care what people think about me or my family as much, I feel so much closer to Tyler since we have shared in this experience and my main focus is in that knowledge.

On a side note I am excited for fall, I love summer time, but it doesn't seem I did much fun SUMMER stuff this summer and I am looking forward to fall, I hope it cools down by the end of September but since it was cold in June, I am not crossing my fingers yet...

Any way and those are my Tuesday thoughts!

Karson Maddux Fankhauser

YAY! So we have a name now! And I can officially call my baby his name! Wonderful. Yesterday we blessed our sweet angel boy. Tyler was nervous but did a GREAT job. I am so excited to have everyone know his name, we love it and think it fits perfectly with him! He was so good during the blessing, not a peep! Well I hope you all like his name since you had to wait so long to hear it! Thanks to everyone for all of your love and support!

Best Buddies!

So here are some pictures of Karson with his best buddy Eli. My cousin Tara had Eli on June 18 and Karson was born on July 19. We went over to thier house last week to visit them, we live pretty close by each other so I am excited for them to grow up together and have an instant friend!

Week of 24th of July

So the week of the 24th of July was pretty crazy! Bethanie had a boy named Johnny fly in from California for a little visit. Roury and Johnny became frienids in the MTC and Johnny saw a picture of Bethanie and wanted to write her so they wrote for his whole mission and became good friends, he came and spent a week with her and she is just getting home from spending a week with him in California today, so we shall see what happens with that. I really like him a lot nad think he is a good guy....
We had Kaili for the whole week of the 24th , Ty took off Weds- Fri so it was NICE. On Wednesday we went to Jungle Gyms with Fernanda and the boys, It is only $8 for an unlimited ride pass so that is always fun. Kaili, Keith and Kyle had so much fun going on all of the rides!

Look at this hot Grandma? She can fit right in the rides with the kids! Kyle loved this one!

Here is the sleeping baby boy! Precious!

Bumper Cars!

Oh look at that smile!

On Monday the 21 my mom took Kaili for a special trip to Build-A-Bear, she named this bear Zela! Don't ask me where she got that name from, but she loves it. She calls her dolls that and everything. She picked the pink bear out right away and she loves that it has little panties. She kept telling everyone about them. I know she had a lot of fun going there.

Here is Kaili, my mom, Zela 1 and Zela 2!
