P*I*C*T*U*R*E*S
Hey everyone if you go to the link I have of Green Apple Photography Blog you will see some cute pictures of the baby. He is getting blessed this Sunday so after that I will no longer have to refer to him as " the baby" but as his name! YAY! I am also coming back to work on August 4, I can't believe the time is already here for that, it will be kind of crazy, so we will see how it goes. Check out the pictures, they are pretty cute. I have lots of pictures to post next week, I just haven't had any time lately! Hope you all had a great 24th of July! I SERIOUSLY need the internet at home!

July 19..one month old baby
So this past Saturday my little sweetie pie turned one month old. Wow. I can't believe it. One month has come and gone, and he has already changed so much. He is becoming more and more aware of his surroundings and he just stares right into your eyes, I love it. I love listening to all of the little noises he makes and his differnet facial expresions, he truly is a gift from God. On Saturday we went and saw The Dark Knight with my family and we left the little guy with Ty's parents it was really hard for me to leave him for almost 4 hours, but I guess I better get used to it as I will be going back to work on August 4 three days a week. I feel like I am abdoning him or something, I know I am not, but it will be an adjustment for me. He is just soo cute, I love it. He is getting chubby in his legs and I love it. It's fun to have him! Ok I have to go and feed him now.

A year ago today my world stopped
Frozen in time and the only motion I felt
Were the tears that fell from my face
never ending
Wrapped in blankets of blue
eyes closed and at peace
We held him
But he had returend home
A year ago today
my heart broke
my hands were heavy
and empty
Nothing could have stopped what happened that day
It came so fast so unpredictable
Slowly the hurt melts away and turns into something else
a memory of pain
It is still there but not as strong
We miss him and love him
and know he is watching over us
He was our first child together
our first son
every day we have a thought of him
and he lives inside our hearts
A year ago today
I was living in a nightmare
that I never thought I would have to face
Our little Angel who we met for just a moment
Came to say hello and then left to move on to other things
We love you Easton.
Forver,
Mom and Dad
So I wasn't sure how I would feel today, and I am doing ok. If I think about anything pertaining to Easton, my eyes fill with tears and I start to cry, which is what I thought would happen. I am keeping busy taking care of our other little guy, so I know that has helped. I can't believe everything that has happened this past year, it has been a crazy time, but we have also been very blessed. When I think about last year and everything that happened, I really am surprised how I adjusted to it all. I can't help but wonder what Easton would have looked like as a one year old and that is where it gets hard and sad. I know I will see that side one day, but for now I am left to wonder about it. We are going up to his grave tonight, so that will be good. Any way I knew today would be hard, but I also feel a calm feeling of peace, and for that I am truly grateful.

Better Color, 4th of July, and Family Birthday Party
The next day Ty and I ran a bunch of errands and then we headed back over to my parents for the annual July Birthday bash, we have Fernanda, my mom, Easton, Tyler and the twins birthdays in July so we have one big party and it is always lots of fun. We played outside in the water for a couple of hours, and then grilled some steaks, with baked potatoes, corn on the cob and fruit. It was really good. We played some games and then opened presents. Ty got the DVD Water Boy from Bethanie, Happy Gilmore from Roury, 10,000 BC from Rylee and Katie, and Atlanta Braves slip on sandal shoe things from my mom and dad they aren't flip flops but the other kind, as well as an Atlanta Braves Tie, an Atlanta Braves hoodie for the baby a Jazz hat and T-shirt as well. Luke and Fernanda gave him a gift card to Uinta Golf. Thanks family for all the nice stuff and fun party! We missed Kaili and next year we are going to make sure we do the party when we have her for a weekend! My parents also did a really nice thing for Easton, they bought a tree for him and we planted it in thier front yard, so now we have a little memorial for Easton and that tree will represent him. Thursday might be a little hard I think.....
