Busy Weekend.....

So this weekend like the rest of our week was very eventful. Friday night we rushed home from work and drove out to West Valley to drop Karson off at my good friend Jen's house. She was watching him for us while we went to the concert at the conference center. This was a very good concert full of variety. The Tabernacle choir sang, the Bell Choir was there, along with other Bell Choirs from different High Schools. I have 3 cousins in the bell choir, Marie Egbert, and Erika and Michael Kennard. They are so talented musically and they did a beautiful job. To play those bells you must have a very good ear for music. There was also a performer Brian Stokes ( he is the singing voice of Moses in the Prince of Egypt movie) and there were many other aspects that made it a great concert. We went with Johnnny and Bethanie and afterwards we were starving so we went to Chili's. We had the WORST service ever, but the food was pretty good. We didn't get home until almost midnight! That is a late night for us "old" people! I am not a teenager anymore that is for sure.

Then Saturday I got up and headed over to my mom's house to get some much needed Christmas projects done! I finsished Kaili's scrapbook! I give Ty and Kaili her new scrapbook every year for Christmas, I am not even CLOSE to finishing Karson's so I need to do that next. Then I worked on a Christma project that I can't mention, because it is a surprise, so after Christmas I can tell you. I went to Wal-Mart and finished up a bunch of things, and came back and wrapped presents! Thanks Katie for hanging out with me all day and thanks Ty for watching Karson. Tyler got some Christmas shopping done and hung out with Johnny. Roury helped Ty with his IPOD touch, his new favorite toy, and they figured out some things! It was a good, busy, eventful and tiring day!

Sunday we were pretty tired. We went to church and then went over to my parents house for carbonara. We were getting ready to play a card game and Ty went downstairs to get some drinks, well he forgot to turn the light on going down the stairs and he thought he was at the last step, but he wasn't. He missed a step and twisted his left foot and he heard a POP, this brought him down to the ground and me and my mom rushed downstairs to see what had happened. Poor guy was shaking he was in so much pain! He said it felt like his foot went through the floor. It started swelling up immediately and my dad ( who has had this injury many times with sports) thought he had pulled some ligaments and twisted his ankle. So we put some ice on it and he took some medicine. The swelling on his foot has gone down this morning, but his ankle is still pretty swollen. Ty was being a trooper, but I could tell he was in a lot of pain!

Here are some pictures of his foot! I am just glad that he didn't break it!
He didn't want me to put these pictures on here, but I told him I have to keep you all updated on our life! he he! Love you babe!

Sorry about the ankle. I have heard that same pop before and it really hurt. Hope Tyler gets better soon. By the way cute Christmas card. Love it.
