Hunter High School Class of 2000 10 Year Reunion

Last Friday, August 20, was my 10 year High School Reunion. It's crazy to think that 10 years have come and gone since I was 18. Wow. I wasn't sure if I was going to go or not. High School wasn't really my shining moment. Although I had lots of friends and did lots of things, inside I struggled with MANY different things, and had a very hard time. I was glad I decided to go though. It was held at Tucano's at the Gateway. Lately I haven't been feeling good at all in the mornings and Friday was no exception as I also drove up to Brigham City to pick up kaili. Luckily by the evening I was feeling better, and was able to eat the food.
My good friend Carly did my hair and make up and she did AMAZING! Since I have so much hair there are about a handful of people that can do my hair, Heck I can barely do my own hair, and have it look decent!

Some friends from High School that it was good to see in person after all these years! You know because I see pictures of them on facebook! That red banner in the back ground has my name written on it, in my handwriting. I honestly do NOT remember signing that thing. I was going to take a picture of my name and forgot!

My good friend Danie and I. We survived Jr. High, High School and all the drama after school as well. We are both way busy and dont' get to see each other often, but when we do, it's just like old times.
My good friend Angi and I. We met in 6th grade, and have been friends ever since. I don't get to see her very often either, but when I do, she can make me laugh, she is one of the most sarcastic people I know. It's good times, good times.

Tyler got to wear this sweet name tag of me with my senior picture on it!

Thanks Ty for being a sport and coming with me!
After we ate dinner, they had a slide show put together, but unfortunately it didn't work! Sad! So we played some games like the game show " Minute to Win it" my good friend Henry who was the Student Body Class President, made me come up for this challenge. I had no idea what it was, until they informed me I had to be blindfolded, and wear oven mitts and then have 4 guys stand in a line up, and I had to feel thier face, shoulders, arms and figure out which one was my husband. Tyler was number 1, and I guessed right! What a relief! :) We had dessert and it was a lot of fun! Thanks to the committee for all your hard work and effort to make this reunion a good time! Thanks to Larry, Kay, Megan and Chalese for watching Kaili and Karson!

So...... I am PREGNANT!!!!!!

As you can see from these shirts, Karson is going to be a big brother, and Kaili is going to be a big sister all over again! Tyler and I are expecting a baby. The due date is a little tricky due to some factors, I won't bother sharing...:) but lets just say probably around the end of March. We were shocked, excited, nervous and so happy to be expanding our family.
I have been VERY tired, just ask Tyler, I snore extra loud these days, which also attributes to my stuffy nose, as I get congested every time I am pregnant. I had really bad headaches for awhile, but those have seemed to go away, and now I mostly just feel really sick in the mornings or right after I eat. My first appointment is August 31, so I will have a more of an update then! Kaili was so excited when we told her this weekend, she wants a baby GIRL really bad! I told her there is a 50% chance it could still be a boy and she said " ok but I really want a girl".
On a side note, I picked Kaili up in Brigham City on Friday at 12 none of us had eaten lunch yet so we stopped at Wendy's. There was a picture of Dave, you know the owner of Wendy's on the wall, and Kaili asked me very seriously, " Hey Mom which Prophet is that a picture of?" I thought it was so cute, and a great question!
As for me I don't care what we have boy or girl, of course it would be fun to have a girl, but a boy would be great too, so Karson can have a little buddy! I just want a healthy, full term pregnancy and I will be thrilled~

Palisades State Park Camping Weekend

We went camping at Palisades State Park this past weekend, it is about 5 miles past Manti. It was with Tyler's whole Fankhauser family. It was a lot of fun and really nice. They have a group campsite that you can reserve and you have your own covered pavillion and a big grassy area for kids to play on. We got there at about 5:30 on Friday. Karson was exctied to find that there was a lake right by us and he could throw all the rocks he wanted into the water.
Nick and Amanda brought thier dog Shelby's pin, and the kids thought it was pretty cool to play in as well. Karson loved to play with is cars inside the pin. And it was nice because we knew where he was when he was in there. We had a yummy dutch oven dinner Friday night that Kay and Larry made, dutch oven potatoes, chicken and a peach cobbler for dessert! It was all delicious! The stars were so pretty on Friday night, Karson thought they were pretty cool.

Saturday morning the guys went golfing and the girls hung out with the kids, Gma and Gpa Fankhauser rented this paddle boat for all to use. At first Karson wasn't too sure about going on it, but then he decided to go and thought it was pretty cool! I didn't peddle it but everyone that did said it was a KILLER leg work out. When Ty got back from golfing we drove into Manti hoping Kars would sleep of course he was too distratcted by all of the cows and horses on the side of the roads. We found a little drive thru ice cream place, and honestly waited about 25 minutes for our shakes, but it was kind of worth the wait, they were SO good! I got chocolate raspberry and Ty got chocolate banana.

Saturday night we all played a big game of Bingo, everyone brings prizes and the bingo playing begins. I didn't play because I was actually taking a quick nap in the tent, as I slept like crap on Friday night. I honestly think I got up to go to the bathroom 5 times. When I am just laying there and can't go to sleep, I get nervous and then I have to go to the bathroom. Any way we had a big dinner that night with everyone and hung out and chatted. Kars had a lot of fun playing with the other kids there, Logan, Stockton and Kyleigha.

This is Karson and his Great Grandma Fankhauser. Karson has bonded with her and her husband Don, his great Grandpa. He loves being with them, they took him into thier trailer and he thought that was pretty cool. I am glad Karson is such a loving kid and loves everyone around him. At different times camping, he would just go around and hug everyone who was sitting around him that he knew. He is such a sweet kid and I am so lucky to be his mom! Karson also got to go on a long walk with Papa Larry and Miski, Karson wore them out, as he wanted to go around the whole lake! He loves being around all the people that love him! We of course missed Kaili, but next year we plan on having her for this camping adventure!

Wasatch Mountain State Park

This past weekend we went camping in Heber. The kids had a blast! Tyler and I did as well, except we were the lucky campers that got to be right next to the most annoying, obnoxious, inconsiderate people ever! I hate that! But oh well! We got up to the campsite Friday night at about 5. My parents and Roury were already there, because they went up on Thursday to set up camp.
Keith and Kaili loved roasting the hot dogs and eating them too! Karson wanted to hold a roasting stick, just beacuse the older kids were, he doesn't like eating hot dogs at all.

Tyler helping make the fire! He did a great job! My mom made homemade doughnuts Friday night they were very good!

Cutie Karson on Saturday morning! He tripped and fell on his knees on the gravel and scraped both of them up pretty bad, he was pretty upset about it for awhile and then he finally calmed down, poor guy!

Feeding the ducks with Papa!

They had a Jr Ranger class, where they learned about the moon, and about following rules in the forest. They both earned a Jr Ranger badge and certificate, they loved it.

Keith, Kaili and Karson posing for this cute picture! :)

Katie and I took the kids to a park, while the others golfed 9 holes. It happened to be Heber Days, so there was a parade at 5:00 on Saturday. This park was just behind where we were sitting for the parade. The kids loved the parade! They got lots of candy, popcicles, ice cream bars, balls, book marks, pens, etc.

They had clowns on the street before the parade, making kids balloons. It was fun.

Karson eating some chips waiting for the parade to start. He loved the horses the best, and the fire trucks. Saturday night my mom Navajo tacos for dinner, they were very good. And then we had smores, yummers! Due to our FABULOUS camping neighbors, I got about 3 hours of sleep on Friday night, my best sleep was actually from 6:00 am to 7:45 am on Saturday morning and then Saturday night I litterally did not fall asleep until 2 am. I know with camping comes lack of sleep, but I was pretty tired by Sunday!
This weekend we are going camping with Ty's family to Palisades in Nephi, so we will have more camping posts to come! :)

Karson & Zoey

Last week Karson and I went with our cute friend Zoey to Gardner Village! We fed the ducks and the HUGE fish that are in the stream and went to ride on the pony's. I am surprised that Karson wanted to do this, but he loves the " nieghs" as he calls them and had a fun time!
I of course got some yummy fudge at Sweet Afton's,because you just have to when you go there!
