Thanksgiving 2010

We had a nice Thanksgiving break this year! Unfortunately we didn't have Kaili and she is always missed, but Ty was able to talk to her on the phone so that was good. We had Thanksgiving with my family this year at my Mom and Dads, my Aunt Becky and cousins Tyler and Tierny were able to be there as well. Everything was so yummy! My mom made the Turkey, gravy, stuffing, sweet potatoes, rolls and 2 of her famous chocolate pies! We also had all kind of sparkling cider, yum! Fernanda brought the mashed potatoes, they were so good! I made our traditional carrots and onions, Katie brought peas and made pumpkin sugar cookie bars, and Bethanie made yummy peach jello with homemade whipcream! I brought a pumpkin pie cheesecake, Fernanda made a lemon pie, and my Aunt Becky made a banana cream pie as well as a regular pumpkin. Everything was so delicious! Oh and lets not forget Johnny's deviled eggs! Love those!
After the meal, we all just relaxed and hung out for a bit and played some WII bowling, Karson loves this, even though he doesn't really play yet, he gets so excited pretending to play! Friday Ty and I slept in, and then got ready for the day, we went to Best Buy just looking around, we weren't really planning on buying anything, but we ended up buying a TV, Tyler is getting $$ for Christmas and was wanting to put it towards a nice TV. We ended up getting a KILLER deal, which gave us a free Blue Ray DVD player with our purchase. Ty HATES spending money...even if he is getting money to go towards it, so it was a big deal for him to buy this the same day we saw it...he is NOT an impulsive shopper...like...um...me! :) Then we were able to go see Tangled with my family which was So good! I will for sure be buying that when it comes out on DVD. Then Tys parents and sister came to our house to watch the Jazz beat the Lakers! YAY!

Isn't this little guy cute? Katie made them for everyone at Thanksgiving. Saturday was the BIG game....it was sad BYU lost, but at least it was only by 1 point, and they pretty much dominated the game the whole time. Saturday night we ran a bunch of errands, grabbed some Five Guys for dinner and then Ty helped his Dad fix his car later that night. Sunday we celebrated my little sisters 22nd birthday! It was a great weekend.

Cute Karson licking some whip cream off a beater! He and Kaili both LOVE whip cream!
