Yesterday Karson and I were playing in his ball play pit toy that he got for Christmas. He loves to watch the balls slide down the slide. I picked up a
green ball and said "
green" he then picked up a
green ball to show me
green. We started doing that for all the different colors, when I got to
red, he picked up a
purple ball, so I picked up another ball and said "
no red like Elmo"as soon as I said
Elmo it clicked in his mind and he started gathering all the
red balls putting them down the slide, saying "
Elmo, Elmo" it was so cute! I love how bright kids are and how quick they pick up things. So
Yellow became
big bird,
green became
Oscar the grouch and
blue became
cookie monster! The kid loves Sesame Street!

He would love this Sesame Street color book we have! I think I got it at Harmons - it's a board book and every page has a different character and other things that are red (so the red page has Elmo, a red hat, etc). It's really cute and I think it was $2.
