Crazy Fathers Day Weekend...

So we had a pretty crazy, busy weekend! Friday night we went over to my parents house and ate Papa Murphy's pizza and salad and hung out and watched Transformers with Roury. That is the first movie that he had wanted to see. We got home at around 10:30 and we all crashed!
Saturday morning I got up and made Tyler breakfast for Fathers Day since I knew Sunday it would be crazy. I made him waffles, with real whip cream and fresh raspberries, sausage links, chocolate milk and orange juice. It was good! Then Ty and I cleaned and Kaili played and listened to the music on the IPOD. Sidenote: Her favorite song is that Taylor Swift song that says " he's the reason for the tear drops on my guitar" and she sings the chorus really well. It's cute! Any way Ty was a big help because he basically vacumed the whole house and the stairs and mopped the bathrooms for me. I was having anxiety because I felt like the house was a mess. I did laundry and cleaned the sinks and toilets and dusted. After that we went to Wingers for lunch and ran to Babies R Us, Sportsmans Warehouse and Wal-Mart. By the time we got to Wal-Mart I wanted to cry. My feet were swollen, my hands were purple and swollen and my feet were killing me! So I went home and rested and then we went over to Tyler's parents house at around 8:00 and stayed until almost 11. We played Canasta with his Grandma Adele and Kaili played with Megan and Grandma Kay.

Also on Saturday we had Tyler open his presents from Kaili and I, and baby. He got some new cologne, Curve Crush for men, it's yummy. The purple deck to the game Killer Bunnies, and a cute little BYU outfit for the baby, yes I know that isn't really a present for Ty but it kind of is. Kaili gave him a cute card and colored all pretty in it, I took a picture of that to post on here, and then I realized I wrote the babies name on the card as well and if people were to click on the picture and enlarge it they could see the name! Ha! Good thing I caught myself. Any way he also got some IBC Creme Soda, oreo's powerade drinks and chocolate covered pretzels. His mom and dad also gave him some jumper cables, which we need.

Sunday I woke up to soar feet and as the day progressed, they just got bigger and bigger. By the middle of the day I could feel the water swishing around in them as I walked. Nice! It was Roury's homecomeing and he did a good job. He felt wierd, because he kept wanting to talk in Spanish but I thought he did GREAT! It's so fun to have him back!

So we stayed at my parents and hung out and played all day. Keith and Kaili were having a BLAST together. Keith was so sad when Kaili had to leave at 7:00 he followed her out to the car and gave her some apple juice, he doesn't understand why she has to go to her " other" house. Tyler had a blast watching golf! BORING, and I tried to rest and hung out with the rest of the fam!It was a good day.

However when Ty and I got home our house was 78 degrees!!!!!! There was something wrong with power meters in our townhouse community and we couldn't have the air on for the whole night! So we did the best we could with opening the windows and turning on a fan, and I propped my feet up on two pillows and the long night began! Any way there you have it!

isn't that water sloshing in your feet such a weird feeling?! sounds like you're 'nesting' and definetly ready, and i can't wait to hear his name :)

I am sooo sorry about your feet, that's sounds horrible! I know how it is though, remember my picture? Be sure to take one so after you have the baby you can look back and reflect on all the sacrifice you went through to have him.

Oh! The joys of swollen feet. I was tired just reading about your weekend and remembering being pregnant!
