So last night I made some sloppy joe's from a recipie from one of Rachael Ray's talk shows. I normally don't like sloppy joe's but thought I would try out this recipie. I have made it twice now and it is pretty good. So I thought I would share it with the class.
Brown ground turkey in some olive oil and salt and pepper
drain juices, put back in pan
add 1 chopped up red pepper
add 1 chopped up red or white onion
BBQ Sauce
3 tlbs of brown sugar
3 tlbs vinegar
2 8 oz cans of tomoatoe sauce
1 tlbs grill seasoning or season all whatever works
1 tlbs worstershire sauce (I am sure I spelled that wrong)
1 tlbs of hot sauce
mix this all together and then add to the ground turkey and veggies, let simmer for about 10 mins
toast whatever kinds of buns you like in the oven on broil for about 5 mins, and pile it on there, you can add grated cheese or pickles as well it is pretty easy, healthy and good
On a side note, I have been watching American Idol, Simon seems particularly grumpy this season and I have to say I am rooting for the boys over the girls. The boys are just better this year in my opinion all 3 David's of the boys are my favorites I think! Yay for American Idol!

I miss every Wed. night because of bells, but I have liked watching the guys!
Those sloppy joes sound really yummy! I just might have to try them. I haven't been to big into American Idol the past few seasons... probably because a few of the winners have tanked so hard. Anyway... I noticed that you pulled your last post and I hope things are going better for you! It is okay to vent frustrations when the world is falling to pieces. Sometimes you need a good vent to bounce back strong!
Cute blog! I love how you have redone it! I love the colors you picked and your topper is REALLY cute!
Thanks for the recipe, I'm gonna have to try it! I love your new blog layout! Way cute!
Idol, yeah!!!
Too funny you mentioned rooting more for the guys. My husband said the same thing last night. He thinks its unfair that they take the top 6 of each gender, instead of the top 12 regardless of gender.
I agree on 2 of the Davids anyway...One of them just rubs me the wrong way.
And Simon, yeah, seems to be even more bored as well. He keeps bringing up the Oscars - didn't see the Oscars, but from the sound of it, it just kept going and going.
