Kindergarten!!!!!

Oh, my sweet Karson Maddux, did NOT want to go to Kindergarten last Friday August 2. He was so upset and worried that he would get lost, or be left outside at recess. It was breaking my heart! He was crying, I was crying, it was a mess. I finally got him in the car, and once he saw all the kids walking to school, he kind of calmed down. He was still uncertain about going into class, but I walked him in and he met a friend Lucas, and they are now best buddies. So as you can see the before school picture and the much happier after photo of the first day!

Happy 5th Birthday Karson!

 First birthday party was  a sports party. Karson was shy and wasn't sure what to think of everything! He did like that cake though!

 Here are some fun facts about Karson:
1. He is very good with numbers and math, he adds and subtracts things on his own and is very observant with numbers. In soccer he would keep track of both team's scores, in baseball he knew all of his friends jersey numbers, and would correct me if I was wrong.
2. He is turning into quite the picky eater, his favorite thing to eat right now, toast with butter, orange juice, Popsicles, spaghetti, pretzels, and chocolate chip ice cream or rainbow sherbet.
3. He loves playing the wii, right now he is into his Lego Batman game, or his Lego Star wars game.
4. He has the biggest heart, and is very sensitive when he gets hurt or others get hurt around him. One of my favorite things to see is when I come in and check on Karson at night I will see that he has put a blanket over some of his stuffed animals and have them lined up to sleep by him. So sweet.
5. He says the sweetest and most honest prayers. It gives me a glimpse as to what he thinks about all day.
6. He has become quite the chatter box with strangers and his favorite thing to tell ask them is, how old they are and what is their middle name. He recently told a woman that she looked older than his grandma's, and was she a grandma?
7. He loves big sister Kaili so much, he is really starting to notice when she is gone, and misses her presence. He and Hudson are getting a long better now, and it is so cute when he asks Hudson to come and play with him.
8. He loves sports, they are a part of his DNA. He truly has the drive, the passion and the excitement for them all and we are excited to see what his future holds for him.
9. He loves his friends, he is very kind and devoted to his friends, and that is a good quality to develop so young.
10. Karson loves his grandparents very much and has a close relationship with all of them, even Tyler's grandparents, which are Karson's great-grandparents.

 Second birthday party was an Elmo party! It was a lot of fun and a lot of work! The cupcakes were a hit though!

 Third birthday party was a golf party!

 And fourth birthday was a baseball party! I am so thankful to be this energetic, sweet kids mom. Karson was my angel baby, and a comfort to me as I was still dealing with the loss of Easton. He was the perfect most beautiful baby and although it's hard being a mom sometimes to a very energetic little boy,  I love him to the moon and back and wouldn't trade him for anything. Happy Birthday to my Favorite Five year old!Oh and lets not forget the 5th birthday party theme of STAR WARS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This was taken at his first ever friend birthday  party, photos of that will be coming later!

Memorial Weekend: Heber City, Thomas the Train for a Day and lots of fun!

 Cute Hudson! My sis-in-law took this picture for me and I ADORE it.

 We headed up to Park City on Friday May 24 and met up with my cousin and her family. The girls went shopping at the outlets with the kids, while the men folk went golfing! The kids were actually pretty well behaved and we got some killer deals!

 Hudson was so excited for Thomas the Train. He had a blast!

 It's a family tradition of ours to go to the Dairy Keen anytime we are in Heber City, they have yummy food, great prices, and the kids get a train conductor hat in the kids meals!

 On Memorial Day we went mini golfing at Mulligans! Had a great 4 day weekend with my family! So lucky to have them.

The Month of May so far.....

 Aw yes people, this is me and my crazy life! May has been full of fun, memories, sickness and business!

 Ty and I, and my friend Anjeanette and I at the Running for Angels race on Saturday May 18 at Thanksgiving Point about 5 minutes into the race, it started pouring rain! We were SOAKED by the end! It is always an emotional walk/run for me as my thoughts can't help but turn to Easton! I miss him!

 My fabulous sis-in-law Amanda took some pictures of Kaili the end of April at Trolley Square, they turned out amazing!!! Kaili is 9!

 Ty drove up to Brigham City May 7 to see Kaili perform in her dance recital! What a good dad!

 Karson's last day of Pre-school Tues May 21. I am so proud of how much he has grown and all he has learned this year! He is really smart in math, must take after his Dad!

 My athlete Hudson, at 6 am playing catch while watching The Sandlot, this is EVERY morning people!

 I am giving Karson his first friend birthday party for his 5th birthday, 11 little boys, pizza,water balloons, and craziness! wish me luck! Below is me on Mothers Day with my boys! Love you!

My Little Baseball Stud Muffin!!!!

 So Karson is on the Astro's this year. We really like his coach, and it's going to be a great year!

On Friday April 5th, we went to opening ceremonies, because Karson was being awarded his award for Rookie 5 Home Run Derby champ, it was kind of sad, because his coach wasn't there and he was the only one who showed up from his team, so he just had MAMA cheering REALLY loud for him, but it was so cute, they announced his name and he got to walk up to home plate, get his picture taken and get his awesome medal that says on the back " Riverton Baseball 2013 Home Run Derby Winner" and he got a $50 gift card to a sporting goods store!

 It was pretty fun for him and for us! Hudson wants to be just like big brother!

 This is Karson's first game on Saturday, he was maybe going to play catcher but didn't like how the equipment felt so he decided to play first base and did a great job!

 Here is on 3rd base, he hits from a pitching machine this year and had never hit from one until the home run contest, Tyler was a little worried of how it might be, but he is doing great. He hit the first pitch on each time at bat, solid, nice, long line drives.
