Karson 1st Day of Pre-School

Karson had his first day of pre-school on September 14, 2011. He is attending Apple Blossom Acadamy, his teachers are Mrs. Angie and Mrs. Julie. He loves it so much and has lots of fun! He is already paying attention to counting his numbers, and helping clean up.

He was so excited, he was starting to pull funny faces at me. I Love this kid so much and I can't believe he is old enough to attend pre-school...I did shed a few tears as I dropped him off, because I just couldn't believe that he is old enough for it...but I am so excited for him to grow and learn and make new friends!

Labor Day Weekend..2011

The above picture is not from Labor Day, but since I have like ZERO pictures of me and Huds together, I thought I better document this one! :)

We had a really fun Labor Day weekend. Saturday we watched the BYU game at my parents and had a BBQ with a bunch of delicious food.

Sunday evening we headed over to the Fankhausers for a tent sleepout and BBQ, unfortunately I started feeling really sick to my stomach that afternoon and wasn't really able to eat much, but I took a nap with Hudson and felt a little better, Kaili, Karson and my niece Emeri had fun together and watched a movie while the adults played some Texas Hold Em, which I was dominating at...:) We also played Bingo and Grandma Kay never disappoints with the prizes..I won a new game and some baking stuff, Tyler got some money for golf, Hudson got a toy and Kaili and Karson got treats and prizes, it was lots of fun!

The next morning we had a breakfast of french toast and sausage and we all got ready and headed out to Boondocks, we played mini golf, the boys and the kids did the go-karts a lot and the bumper boats a few times, and of course the arcade games. We were there from like 11:00-5:00 so everyone got thier money's worth, we then headed back to the Fankhausers to finish off the night with some delicious dutch oven potatoes and chicken and peach cobbler! YUM!

We were just missing Kadi from this picture and then we would have had all the Fankhauser grand-daughters..

Everyone looking at the neweset addition Addison Kathleen"Addie" Tyler's brother Nick and his wife Amanda had her in August! She is soo cute!

What we've been up to in August...

Me and my cute Karson...I can't believe he is going to pre-school in a couple of weeks! Love him!

This is Karson's new thing....he gets all the pillows in the house, stuffed animals and makes a fort and calls it his spot! It's pretty cute and keeps him entertained for awhile, he talks to all his animals and covers them up with blankets.

I was taking pictures of Hudson in the tub so Karson wanted one as well!

Kars at the zoo, he never gets bored when we got there. We got a zoo pass this year and it has been put to great use, I think we have been 8 times!

In August we went to Cherry Hill with my cousins Marie and Erika and their kids! My parents got us a KILLER pass on City Deals. The value was like $40 and they got it for $14 and we were able to do all kinds of stuff, it was awesome! Here is Kaili and Kayleigh, pink Kayleigh is 4 years old! She is so tall! :)

This is Michael Kennard, Erika my cousins husabnd and dad to Kayleigh Kennard! It's funny because when we are with them we are always calling the Kaili/Kayliegh's by thier whole names so they know who we are talking to!

This is Kars and Ty at Murray Pool, my cousin Tara who watches the boys for me twice a week had her son Isaac's birthday party at Murray Pool. Karson loved this slide and he and Ty went down it probably 20 times together. Tyler would hold him up at the bottom!

Hudson moved inot Kaili's room in his crib, it takes up a lot of space, but he has been sleeping pretty well in it! I swear he is going to start crawling any day now!

August has been a pretty rough month for us, but it has been fun to watch Hudson grow and experience life! We are thankful for Kaili and Karson too, and all the fun that kids can bring into our life! :)

Hudson eating solids...

Hudson LOVES bananas and sweet potatoes. I know a lot of people don't give thier kids solids until they are 6 months or older, but with Karson and now with Hudson my boys are just ready to eat sooner, and it helps them sleep much better which helps mommy too.

Hudson gets really mad if I don't give him spoonfuls one right after the other,he loves it! And when it's all gone, he is not happy!

I just love this little guy so much! He is definately a bit fiesty, but so is his mamma! :)

Mom? You Happy?

Karson has these sayings that he says to me, one of them being " Mom? You Happy?" he usually asks me this when he can sense I am NOT happy and then just by him saying it usually makes me happy, or if he is being naughty I will say " No mommy is not happy, mommy is happy when you listen and are a good boy." He will think about this and usually say " me sorry mom". He also says to me " Mom, I love you all day and around back", I always smile when he says this. It's so cute. I haven't been very good at updating the blog lately, because July has been a pretty rough month for me....I was way sick for about a week and a half and had to make a trip to the ER. I am feeling much better, poor Hudson last week got thrush and 2 ear infections! He was MISERABLE but is doing much better now!

We went to St.George over the 24th of July. My parents were already down there. We had a very relaxing time, Kars and Ty went golfing together and Kars loved it. He went on some walks with my Dad, and we went to the pool! I was able to read some books my cousin lent me and get some naps in. It was a good mini vacation for us.

Yes, my son at in-n-out eating Wendy's chicken nuggets.. he he....hey he did eat in-n-out fries....So I just feel like my blog has been kind of boring lately! Hopefully I will make it more intersting soon enough! I can't believe summer is almost over! Kaili will be in 2nd grade, Karson is starting pre-school that I know he will just LOVE, and Hudson will be 4 months on thursday! Time goes by so fast! Ty is looking for a job so if anyone has any leads please let me know! His dregree is in Accounting and Business!

Our 4th of July Weekend 2011

Thursday June 30 we went to the zoo with my mom. The kids had lots of fun hanging out with her and it wasn't too busy at all! :)

Friday July 1 was the Riverton parade, they do it at night which is so nice! We went with our awesome neighbors and I think the kids had lots of fun, although they were way tired!

All the grandkids fighting for Grandma! They sure love her. We had our McD July birthday party on Saturday July 2. My parents bought all kinds of fun water toys and some of us had a big water fight. It was FUN! Then we had a yummy BBQ and opened presents and did fireworks. Karson was NOT loving the fireworks.

So here is Noah and Karson watching the fireworks from inside. I have a feeling that next year these two will be best buddies running around together!

On monday the actual 4th we went to boondocks with Kay and Larry, it wasn't busy at all and the kids had fun. We all played mini golf, then Kars and Ty went on the go-karts, Kaili, LArry and Kars did the bumper boats and they had all the water to themselves. Then we had lunch and the kids got to play some arcade games.

After that the kids went with Gma and Gpa to go buy some treats for Murray Park and we met up with them there. We hung out with some friends, and just talked, relaxed and munched on snacks until the fireworks. Karson seemed to like the fireworks ok this time,but boy were we all tired when the night was over! we didn't get home until 11:45 at night!
